Where do you put your passes?

I booked a package through Walt Disney World Travel. It is my understanding that my room key, my park passes, my dining, and charging will all be on one card. Is this right? Where does everyone carry this? I've seen some picutres with people that have a pouch on a lanyard around their necks. I think Passporter sells these.
Won't I need to get our tickets out frequently for Fast-Pass?
I'm sorry. I leave on Monday for my first flight, first visit to WDW. I'm starting to panic. Everything seems a bit overwhelming.
I would have been so unprepared without the DIS!

Ours just stay in DHs wallet but I'm beginning to think that's not the best idea. I've seen the lanyards and am starting to think about trying them out. (Though I don't know if I could suffer the humiliation of my family taunting me about wearing a lanyard, those are about as bad as fanny packs to me! LOL!) I'm just afraid if we keep leaving them in his wallet something is going to happen. We'll lose some money, a ticket, etc. I'm such a worry wart!

At work I received a metal business card case and I keep the cards in there. That way if I get wet on a ride, or from rain, the cards will always stay dry. It is easy to open to get the cards out for fast pass. Of course, it was free so I am not sure how much it would cost if I had to buy one.

Just wait til you get there- they have several different options. They have nice Disney lanyards and they aren't that expensive. See the one in my signature pic- it was only $5.00. They also make a thing called a fastpass holder- here's a picture: http://laughingplacestore.com/images/products/3109L.jpg

They sell them at the parks/resorts and they are under $10. If you don't like lanyards, a fastpass holder clips onto you and has a plastic sleeve for tickets, your i.d., fastpasses, etc.

If you do put them in your wallet be careful not to put them by your credit cards because ours have demagnetized and we had to get new cards issued, not a big deal but a pain in the butt. I usually keep them in my pocket or my DH wears a fanny pack.

I got a waterproof fishing license holder at Wal-Mart for less than a dollar and they look like the plastic Fastpass holder in the picture in one of the previous posts. I had a lanyard that I got on our last Disney Cruise. It is really handy to carry them like that...not worried about accidentally dropping them, they don't get wet on rides and quick to get to at the Fastpass machines!

Do you really want to know? :teeth:

I hold all of our Ap's in a wristlet which I attach to my belt loop. It's quite safe and if anyone was thinking about taking it from me, well, they'll have to deal with me, first!

I have a nifty little wallet thinger that came with a bag my wife bought. I keep them in there. The wallet then goes into my backpack.

I also have the lanyard.

As bad as you think a lanyard might be, you always have the option of tucking it INSIDE your shirt so nobody can see it.

I just keep them in a small lether wallet I bought for travel and then I keep it in my backpack. I have never had a problem with them getting wet on water rides.

Bend over and I'll show you. :rotfl2:

Sorry, just couldn't resist, I've seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation way too many times. :earboy2:

That's funny! I love Christmas Vacation. I watch at least once a year. Sometimes in the summer!
Thanks for all of your help and ideas.
See you next week!
