Where do you put your bag (purse, pocketbook, etc.) when you come home?

I used to hang mine on a doorknob but DH said don't do that anymore because the doorknob can break that way. So now I just put it on the floor under a bookshelf right by the front door.

Used to always be in the floor in the living room. Now I keep it in the floor by my bed. If there is a lot of people over & I have a lot of cash, I usually put it in the bottom of my laundry basket in my bedroom closet.

On a plastic box next to the computer/stand in the family room. This way I can grab it as I run out the door.

On the little table next to the front door, but when I go to bed I bring it up to my bedroom.

On top of the printer next to the computer, which sits on a desk in the corner of the dining room/kitchen area.

That's where I also have the charging cords for my phone/MP3 player/tablet etc, so its just easier to drop everything off there.

I hang mine on one of the dining room chairs, and then my sweater hangs over that.

On the counter top in the laundry room. It is close to the door to the garage. That makes it easy to access.

Just inside our kitchen door is the door to the upstairs. I have a hook on the inside of the stairs door where I hang my purse. Since I work from home and have people in and out all day, I don't want my bag out in the open; but it's still close by for when I run out the door.

I have a shelf in my laundry room that I set it on. We walk into our home through our garage door which opens up into our laundry room so as I go out, I grab it, and as I come home, I set it down on the shelf.

We have this arrangement too. DW puts her purse on the dryer.
It's only a matter of time before a candy bar
Melts in there.
I have a small leather tray on a shelf just inside the door where my wallet,keys, and coins go. The tray has a Mickey icon stitched on the bottom.

About a year ago, women put the answer to this question up as their FB status without telling men what it was in response to. Somehow, it was supposed to lead to breast cancer awareness.

And we were also supposed to say "I like it" before the location of our purse, so there were all these status updates like "I like it on the kitchen counter" and "I like it hanging from a coat hook". I'm not usually one to play along with those games, but I did get a few giggles from the reactions some of the male FBers had.

I leave mine on a shelf in the laundry room, since I usually go in and out through the garage, through the laundry room.

Mine always has to be near me because I have an obsession with my chapstick and eyeliner. They are in my bag. So when I come in the house my bag is on the floor of whatever room I am in. Then it moves to the floor of the bedroom at night so when I put on my makeup in the morning I have the chapstick and eyeliner

When I visit a relative I put it on the floor near their powder room. I grab it when I enter the powder room so I can powder my nose, touch up my chapstick and get my Visine! I know, I'm a weirdo

Assuming this is a serious question ...

I have a rack of hooks inside the door that I put the kids coats on, their backpacks (only one) and my diaper bag. I don't use a purse, just the diaper bag and a Vera Bradley wallet. If I just use the wallet, I hang it above that on a key holder hooks. For years it was just anywhere but now I am pretty good about hanging it up. I am working really hard on organizing things around here!

I have a spot near our charging station on a small counter in the kitchen and I put it up there when I come in the house.

Mine goes on the desk in the office which is just inside the entry way.

Mine goes on a drawer handle in the kitchen. I use the back door to come in (no garage) and that leads to the kitchen. I have a cabinet that I keep all my purses in right there. It's handy when I want to change.
