Where do you put garbage in car with bucket seats?

Sometimes I can't belive the things I post! We just bought a new car that has bucket seats in the front. Where should I keep garbage pail? I always used to have a small pail in the front of the car, but now the gear device blocks me from doing that. Where do you put your trash?

Try looping a plastic bag (e.g., Walmart, Kroger) around the gear shift or a non-critical knob on the dash. My trash usually ends up on the floorboards until I clean out my car but when it was new, I did the above.

Depending on how many people are in your car on a regular basis, you could put something on the back floor. I used to keep a basket (lined with a plastic bag) on the back floor behind the passenger seat. That way I could reach it when I needed to.

I have no place to put one either, so I keep two small garbage pails in my garage, one by my (the driver's side) door and another on the opposite side (older DS's door). He's responsible for the back and I get the front. Before we even get out of the car, we reach over and fill them up! With lots and lots of tissues now, DS is demanding I provide him with rubber gloves for clean up.... LOL

Our truck has a large console area that prevents us from putting anything in the center, so we started using the map pockets in the doors, that way we can clean them out every few days and it never gets too bad. DDs use them too in the back, of course that doesn't stop other stuff from getting thrown around the back!
