Where do you like to eat at DLR?

Thanks for the info, DisneyMomma! I'll have to look and see how that fits into our food plans.

We aren't too far from you....I'm in South Ogden - Uintah Highlands actually, but I have found that many people don't know where that is. :goodvibes

I love threads about yummy food!!!

I LOVE Storyteller's Cafe for their dinner buffet (not character) but the food is good. I also enjoy their breakfast buffet which is a character meal--it doesn't have as much variety as Goofy's, but the quality is much better IMO.

Cafe Orleans or the Blue Bayou for the Monte Cristo--but it wasn't as good in February as I remember it, and they keep raising the price.

Carnation Cafe--I love the loaded potato soup and croissant sandwich. It is good, fresh food, and not much more than a burger.

I don't get hamburgers at DL either, so here are some of my favorite quick eats:
Pacific Wharf Cafe in California Adventure---LOVE the soup in a breadbowl
Taste Pilots Grill has pretty good sandwiches and ribs and you can add your own fixings (tomato, lettuce, etc).
Redd Rockett's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland--LOVE the Chicken Fusilli, sometimes DH and I share that and a salad
Plaza Inn--Fried Chicken meal--it has 3 pieces of Chicken and potatoes, and veggies, and a roll, so it is easily enough for 2
French Market--I like the French Dip

Whitewater Snacks. One of the best (and cost effective) places to eat at the Resort.

MMM. Red Rocket's PIZZA Port... where everyone gets salads and pasta. J/k

There pizza is not that bad... but it is really nothing fantastic. I however really enjoy their chicken Caesar salad with extra dressing.

One more thing ~ earlier this month we stopped by Carnation Cafe (I had a PS) for the Matterhorn Sundae! It was so fun, (that's all we ordered) it was too much for the 3 of us! I'll have to post the picture, there is a picture somewhere on here already.

We did that before, too! Three of us ordered the Matterhorn sundae and an apple pie a la mode with whipped cream and strawberries to split/share among all of us, with some hot coffee drinks, and sat and watched the parade that was going by at night. Carnation has a great location for parades and ambience and parade glimpsing!:thumbsup2

I should also point out that we, too, caught the Pixar parade while sitting at Wine Country Trattoria, except it was in December, and probably somewhere in the 7:00 p.m. range, I think. That was a great little surprise. Everyone else was sitting indoors because it was so cold, but we had a prime view of the parade so that was cool.

Table Service
DCA-Wine Country-I love the Pizzetta Salad. My DM and I share it. Love seating on the patio when it's nice out. :lovestruc

DL-Plaza Inn-The chicken pasta here is almost identical to the Chicken Fusilli served at Redd Rockets. My DD9's fav. :goodvibes Totally shareable. Also the fried chicken-good and sharable as well.
Cafe Orleans-Good food, nice to eat outside. Order the Pommes Frites - Traditional French-fried potatoes tossed with Parmesan cheese, garlic and parsley, served with a Cajun spice remoulade $4.99 as an appetizer-Delicious!

Counter Service
DL-Redd Rocket Pizza Port-Chicken Fusilli. Also Oriental Chicken Salad. If I have no one to share the big salad with I will get a side salad and get the Asian Dressing. Really good!

DCA
Farmer's Market-Chicken Strips
Other-our new favorite-White Water Snacks at GC. Easy in and out from DCA. Good food, shareable, and not usually crowded.

DTD
Ralph Brennan's Jazz Express
I like the Gumbo Ya Ya ( a little spicy) -usually share it with a side of a loaf (baguette) of french bread. When I order DD the kid's meal (chicken nuggets) I substitiute regular, unseasoned fries for the Happy Face Fries which I think are disgusting! You get a ton of chicken balls (nuggets), they are actually pretty tasty. And of course the beignets are delicious. There's a coupon here http://www.anaheimoc.org/Articles/Archive/Webpage10153.asp#dining for a free small (4) order of beignets with any purchase.

Snacks
DCA-Caramel Corn from carts! So good-even better than Kettle Corn
Cinnamon Twist from Bakersfield Bakery. Also Chocolate Drizzled Macaroon.
Caramel Apples from Candy Store
Burr Bank Ice Cream

DLR-Dole Whip
Blue Ribbon Bakery-same treats as Bakersfield
River Belle Terrace-Dessert and hot drink on cold nights.

Tip-if you are a hot tea drinker, bring your own tea bags and they will give you hot water. If you are a coffee drinker, keep your receipt and you can get refills.
