We tape our tip to the mirror in an evelope marked with mouse keeping. My girls would write a message on it asking for a certain towel animal and when we came back to the room the envelope was gone and a towel animal was left everytime. My kids would get so excited to see if they had a towel animal.
I don't want to come across as harsh, but if you can't speak, read or write English, you are working here in the US and you can't figure out if the money being left in the room is a tip, it's your loss.![]()
PS We had no envelopes in our room at POFQ and left the tip next to a napkin with Housekeeping written on it.
Okay. Here is the edited version...Why preface something like this with "I don't want to come across as harsh"??????
You did.

I've been told $1 per person per day, and leave it each day as you may not have the same housekeeping person every day.Per day? Per stay?
Per day? Per stay?
I leave mine on the night stand, or on the foot of the bed. Either way it's in an envelope marked for Mousekeeping. Of course, I make my bed every morning, even on vacation, so they probably think I'm nuts!![]()
If you go to www.themouseforless.com , they have some mousekeeping envelopesthat you can print and make from a standard sheet of computer paper. They have difffernt designs on them and can be fun to do.
