Where do you keep your kitchen towel that you're using?

I keep it on the refrigerator door handle and sometimes one on the oven door, but that's mainly when there's a holiday and I have a holiday themed towel.

I use paper towels, just think kitchen towels & sponges are so germy.

My oven is too far from the sink, that's why I don't hang one on the oven door usually.

Where Dh can easily see, and reach it! What is it about men, and paper towels!! Don't get me wrong I use them too but, reams instead of a piece. Ours is to be used to dry dishes that don't go in the dishwasher, or are in the drain board, and needed before they have drip/air dried. Our hand drying towel is in the bathroom.

Ours hangs on the towel bar at the end of the kitchen peninsula (put there for specifically that purpose after we moved in), directly across from the sink. It gets changed out every 2-3 days, or more often if I used it without washing my hands.

I leave it draped over the side of the dish drying rack. Easy to spot and I never forget what I did with it when I'm drying dishes.

My DH will use a paper towel to wipe up a tiny drop of coffee that spills for his morning coffee when he could just use the sponge

I have two little stick on holdesr on the tile backsplash near the sink---one for the towel for hands and one for the towel for dishes. I change out towels every day or two so tehy don't get germy.

The one I'm currently using to dry dishes gets hung from the drawer closest to the kitchen sink (open drawer, put top 2" of towel inside, close drawer, drawer holds it in place and it can "air dry" that way after I dry the few dishes that I don't like to put into the dish washer. And I replace it every couple of days.

I do have a decorative (with a chicken theme to go with the rest of my kitchen theme) one hanging from the refrigerator handle and I change that one out for seasons (I have several autumn and spring ones) and holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas mainly.

Oven door. Unless I'm cooking, and that means it's hopped from one counter, to the island, back to the other counter and I'm constantly looking for the darned thing!

The kitchen towel is freshened daily, always after dinner since it had a wild ride during preparation.
