Well, I used to hide dds in our storage unit but we no longer have a storage unit.

So this year they are actully in dds closet. :lmao::rotfl: There is a cabinet portion at the top of her closet that she cannot get to. I can barely get there with a step ladder.

I have been wrapping them as I put them in there. The tricky part will come on Christmas eve. My plan is to have my sister take her for a walk to look at the lights while I move them from there. Then once dd goes to be we can put them under the tree.

Most of ours are either hidden in our closet or in plain boxes under our bed. DH hides mine in the gun safe :rotfl2: since it's the only thing I don't really have access to (don't even know the PIN to get in it)

LOL! Since DS was aware that presents came solely from us, we've told him we have the neighbors keep his gifts in their basement. he's never looked for them. I usually keep them in my bedroom in plain sight because he's hardly ever in there and he'd never think to look in the bags. It's hilarious! My husband is amazed. When I was little, my siblings and I unwrapped and rewrapped all our gifts. I hated it because none of my gifts were a suprise.
We thought we had gotten away with it but my mother told us a few years ago that she knew because our wrapping was awful. :rotfl:

:goodvibes We moved to a different house this year.

We thought that we had a great hidding place until the 3 yo found his birthday presents, knew to be quite, and opened them up while Mommy was taking a shower!

He was not, however, old enough to know not to tell on himself about his activities!

He came running into the bathroom yelling "I wub my birfday presents Mommy!" :rotfl2:

His "birfday" is November 30th.

Fortunately, the Christmas presents were still in double bags and he went straight for the cool Fireman wrapping paper covering his birthday presents.

Now, we've spread the gifts all over the house so he can't discover all of them at the same time!

I think next year we will use the suitcases and Christmas decoration storage bins!

On a side note, we explained that he had to wait for his birthday to play with his gifts as we'd explained that he was not to open any "stuff" without asking first. It was just too much for a little kid to resist!

And, yes, we rewrapped them because family sent them to us and they will be traveling to our house for his birthday. Gotta take pictures and videos ya know! :rolleyes1

I have stored presents in my travel trailer, at other people's houses, in with my sewing stuff, and in the attic. But my most successful hiding place was the year I got two large boxes, labelled them "Maternity bras & underwear" and "Diapers" , and stuck them in my closet. :rotfl: The kids never figured it out and I used those boxes for years!

At my neighbor's house. She hides hers at my house.

My kids are 17, 14 & 11. Her daughters are in their early 20's. :rotfl:

my bedroom closet
When kids were little, attic in DH shop (they couldn't get up there)
