where do you get your pins?

I have been looking over my collection and I wondered about yours.

1.Do you mostly buy your pins from Disney or an auction site,
2. buy your pins from others on the boards
3. trade on trips or at meets
4. trade from the boards or pinpics

I buy most of my pins through boards and Disney!

1. Auction sites
2. Kind board members selling them at cost (SMOOCH, I LOVE YOU, thank you, thank you)
3. Trades
4. Cheappins.com lucky hits

In order of purchase:
1. WDW
2. great friends who travel to WDW
3. that e*** site
4. cheappins
We usually keep most of the pins we buy and do an occasional trade.

I must rely on the kindness of others. Mostly trading, try not to buy unless I am at the parks when I then go on a spending spree and buy too many only to find out that I have pins that everyone else has and end up with a lot of not so great traders. LOL

By the way, Suzi and Vince, thanks for the package, got it Friday. Where are you guys? Thinking of visiting the east coast again.

Since I'm so far from the park, I have to buy the pins, mostly ebay. And, I'm on a big time budget (no job right now) so, I go for the cheapies. We have a few local traders so we have some pin meets. That helps me get a "pin fix" I can't wait for the Disney Store pins to come out.

And, we are going to WDW in November. I am sooooo excited. Then maybe I'll get some good pins.

I was thinking about this a little more... I would have to say that I get my best pins from WDW or at Pin Meets.

We mostly buy ours from Disney.

In Cal we have friends who get them for us when they can. When we go to one of the parks Britt and I get as many of the LEs that we like as we can so that we have traders for the times we are not at the parks then we trade for the ones that we miss with the ones we picked up on our last trip. This works ok although we still have to supplement with the e*** plus we have wonderful friends like Flying Lizard and Daber who pick us up stuff on their trips to WDW.
