Where do you eat your meals?

Do you sit at a table or somewhere else? I usually eat at the kitchen table or standing up off the kitchen counter. Occassionally, I eat in front of the tv in the livingroom

On the couch while we watch TV. We don't have kids, or we'd probably have the rule of sitting at the table.

Even though it's just the two of us, we should probably sit at the table more often, but we don't. In fact I don't remember the last time we sat at our own dining room table together unless we were working on some kind of project or something. Maybe over breakfast on the weekend as we read the newspaper.

We eat all our meals at the kitchen table. For special occasions or when we have guests over and need a larger table we sit in the dining room which is right off the kitchen. We never eat in front of the TV, but I often have to nag my kids and DH about no computers/phones during mealtime (a HUGE pet peeve of mine, I find it incredibly rude.)

Dinner is at the dinner table. Lunch is in the living room (we've got a pull down center console & DD has a small table in the living room). Breakfast, I'll usually eat in the living room while the babies play on the floor & DD1 is still sleeping... then I'll feed all the girls their breakfast at the table.

In the living room in front of the tv. It's just DH and I, and we have a lift top coffee table that we pull up to become our "dining table". We've been doing it this way for 13 years.

We don't have kids, it's just the two of us. DH and I used to eat in front of the tv for years. Now we live in a house where the living room and dining room are open to each other. So now we eat in the dining room, and just watch tv from a distance!

We have one of those "crazy" open floor plans, and our dining room table has a perfect view of the TV. I don't know why we don't just sit there, but we just never do . I think I'll surprise my husband some day soon and get dinner all set up at the table, both of us facing the TV .

If its meal time when DH gets home from work, we will eat at the dining room table. We don't have a kitchen table because we have a galley kitchen. Tonight DH didn't get home from work until after 9 pm and by that time I don't care where we eat and tonight we just ate in the family room on the sofa.

Since meals are like, the only moment me and my boyfriend get to spend time together lately because he's so busy the past 3 months, we do sit at the table to eat.
It's just nicer, and nicer to have a conversation, when sitting in front of the TV and eating, you're just being busy with yourself really focussing on the TV.

Once a month we go to pizzahut and we order a pizza and eat it at home, only when eating pizza, we eat in front of the TV, it just feels right like that with "junk food" haha

We sit at the kitchen table for nearly all meals. If we order pizza, we sit on the couches. If we have a lot of company, we use dining room and kitchen tables.

If it's just me, I'll usually eat in the living room. If my bf is home we eat at the table. We also do the whole manners thing too. No one starts before everyone is seated and no one gets up before everyone's done.

Since it's just me, on the couch. My living room and dining room are also combined, but I would feel SO LONELY to eat at the table alone (it seats eight).

When my DBF was here, we'd sit on the floor and use the coffee table as a table and watch tv. For my birthday we ate at the big table, and also when we had friends over for dinner. We both agree if/when we have a family, meals will be at the table.

Breakfast and lunch eat sitting on sofa as it just me. Dinner I sometimes use my dining room. I use it when I have guests or we eat in the garden if the weather is nice in the summer
