I looked all over today for pants for dd6 and couldn't find any. Everyone had winter jackets, but no one had snowpants in her size. I'd like to look online, but I'm not sure where to look.
Department (JC Penney, Boscovs, Sears) and discount stores (Walmart, Target) should be getting their winter assortments in any day now. I know we used to have 9/25-10/15 delivery dates and I believe the girls snowpants and certainly the winter jackets are arriving in the stores as of this past week.
we buy the girls Columbia's and get both jackets and pants- 1 has bibs, the other has board pants, at a local sporting good store, but JC Penney usually has them - just not the selection the sporting good store has
I love LLBEAN, buy them a little too big. You kids can wear them for 2 years, and then you can pass them down. Probably more than once. They are a great quality and totally worth the price.
another good brands is LANDSEND or the RUGGED BEAR

I have never been happy with Land's End snow pants. They always got too wet when the kids were playing in the snow. The best snow pants we ever found were at KMart of all places. I found them there about 3 years ago. They had reinforced knees and were warm and repelled water. My kids wore them for two years, my nephew wore them last year and they are still hole free and he will wear them again. We usually went through 2-3 pair of snow pants every year for each kid because they would rip out in the knee.
