Where do you buy perfume? Who has the best incentive right now?

So....I see that perfumes (nicer ones) are rarely discounted. Currently Ulta offers a free bath robe, I think Dillards has some perfume sampler. Anyone else?

Where do you buy your perfume?

I am specifically looking for La vie est belle by Lancome.

I typically purchase at Sephora. They have a large selection & will make small spray bottle samples for you to try. Best thing about them? The sales people do not follow you around!

I buy it at Ulta and when DH buys for me I he goes to Macy's or Nordstroms. I wish he'd go to ulta.

I heard that Sephora had a 20% off coupon after Thanksgiving that included fragrances (rare), so will look for that next year. I ended up at Ulta. It was fun! I was interested in another perfume...that Ulta didn't have, but Sephora did.

The prices seem fixed, so just trolling for store incentives ; ) When I was at Ulta, there were a bunch of boyfriends buying for their girlfriends...it was a hoot watching them pick out a white, pink or polka dot robe. They were cute and clueless.

I have actually had good luck on amazon. I have one favorite perfume, Marc Jacobs daisy, and amazon ALWAYS has it for at lest 30 percent less than any store I can find it in.

Marshalls and Ross have the best prices. I do not know who pays the the prices that Ulta 3 has when you can buy the same thing for almost half off at Marshalls.

Nordstrom rack. Better prices than tJ Maxx or marshals on Bulgari, Hanae Mori,issaye ,,red poppy etc.

I love TJ and Marshall's but they don't carry the perfumes I like. Also I've been told by friends who are buyers not to buy salon shampoo, conditioner, makeup or perfume at discount retailers because it can often be old which can render the product useless, cause irritation, etc.

I've heard Nordstrom Rack is fine though; too bad they don't carry my perfumes most of the time. I might have to check out amazon!

i just saw that in the Macy's ad that they are giving away a two piece luggage set with a $75.00 purchase. I'm sure it's not the best quality but it is free.

You're right about Macy's. They seem to have the most plentiful incentives. If DH hadn't already wrapped the perfume...I might head to Macy's. I will remember this for next year : )

I checked Amazon, and no go with what I wanted...still to 'new' of a fragrance.

hmmm my sister sells Avon so I just buy that - usually on sale or where you get the body wash & lotion with it
people comment that it smells good so it works for me - I have a feeling ya might be wanting to go higher price to impress someone for Christmas but hey, to each his own
