Where do you all eat when staying onsite?

We stayed at RP 2 years ago and had 1 meal in their Islands Dining Room, and 1 meal at Margaritaville. My husband and I splurged and went to Tchoup Chop one night. Any other good choices for eats in the area?

Also, can onsite guests make reservations or priority seatings?

we've gone to tcoup chop and emeril's for special occasions. but we're boring creatures of habit. we go to universal 3 or 4 times a month. it's usually Margaritaville, but we like the HRC and NBA City. sometimes we go to the HRH to eat at the Kitchen. if you're onsite, your room key gets you PS, and you can arrange reservations.

this sunday, we'll see you at Margaritaville. (again)

I love Margaritaville!

My kids already know that Mom has to get her Margarita when we get there!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...MYTHOS in IOA.

We are creatures of habit as well and have our favorites. For lunch it is either Mythos or Finnigans

Dinner is TchopTchop, Mamma Dellas, Bice, The Palm.

Mel's Diner in Universal, NASCAR Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, NBA City, we love them all, it's so hard to choose :confused3 so we just eat everywhere

I know it is not on property, but not far away on International Drive is Texas de Brazil which is really really good.

Sal's @ Portofino Bay Resort
Mythos
Margaritaville
Mama Della's
Hard Rock

Offsite Rainforest Cafe @ Downtown Disney

We love NBA City and Latin Quarter.

We like snacks and drinks at margaritaville.

We find the buffet at islands to be wonderful for breakfast and dinner (and at dinner, if they still do it, they change it each night..so you aren't eating the same thing every night..which is nice)

Tchoup Chop is wonderful. We go to Emeril's once in a while, but we don't care for that as much..the food is hit and miss there.

The quick food in the morning at Royal pacific is nice..in one of the sitting areas.

The breakfast buffet at Portofino is very nice.

Mama Della's..I think that is is..at Portofino is excellent for dinner..one of the best italian meals we have had in a long time.

One important thing..stay away from Bice..the food and service are horrible.
We don't mind paying for a meal..but this place..ugh..horrible..horrible horrible.

Do you need to make reservations in advance for places like Tchop, Tchop and Mythos? How far?

I made ressies for Tchoup Chop today and my vacation is not until August!!! I did it through Opentable.com
I don't think any where else at Universal takes them as early. From what I have read, about 30 days in advance for all others.

Confisco Grill
Mythos
Captain America Burgers
NBA City
Margaritaville

We love these places :thumbsup2

For our trip in August, we plan to eat at the following:

Mythos
Green Eggs and Ham
Tchoup Chop
Luau @ RPR
Margaritaville
Lombards Seafood

What do you think??? Has anyone dined at Lombards Seafood before???
I'm sure we'd love wherever we go!!!

March visit:
Wimpy's for a Nathan's Chili Dog!

April (with DW):
NBA City
Mythos
Hard Rock Cafe
Tchoup Chop
The Palm (Only one we haven't been to and I'm ready for a steak!)
