Hello fellow Disney lovers,
DH and my sister and I are heading to WDW next month, for R&R and most importantly celebrating DH birthday. My sister has never been to WDW, need help on where to go to breakfast. We have reservations at Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace; what else is a must do Disney breakfast.

Thank you!

Cape May at Beach Club - love the setting :thumbsup2 Unless you've already been to Chef Mickeys and love it you may be disappointed. But if you've been there and love it, my apologies :goodvibes

We always loved the Character Breakfast 'Ohana at Poly....

BUT... most days we ate in our room....I always packed instant grits, oatmeal, muffins, pop tarts, breakfast bars, etc. Etc...

Even if we had Breakfast ressies... I would NOT get on a bus until everyone had SOMETHING in their stomach. Could not put up with the "Crankies" while waiting for bus... riding to destination....and waiting for reservations.... LOL

Have a magical visit !

Mary

Kona Cafe is our favorite non-character breakfast. Going twice next trip!

:)

Crystal Palace is a great choice. Chef Mickeys is meh. Food quality & selection isnt the best to be honest. But I think everyone should try it at least once. Tusker House has MUCH MUCH better food than Chef Mickeys thou, and the characters are almost the same. I would swap the two. And i really think 2-3 (max) character meals are plenty for 3 adults.

I have to agree with the PP about Ohana breakfast. Its WONDERFUL. Its a nice sit down breakfast in a gorgeous atmosphere. The characters are great, esp Stitch! What a riot he is. The food is yummy (pineapple bread and the juice are YUMMY!). Its nice to have a sit down rather than a buffet for a change. They serve scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, mickey waffles, fruit, pineapple bread, juice, coffee etc! So good.

My ultimate fave place for breakfast is definitely KONA cafe (right next to Ohana). The tonga toast is INCREDIBLE! The pressed coffee pot & lilikoi juice are also delish. You really cant go wrong here!!

But how many ways can you do eggs and bacon and hash browns...that said, we really enjoy our QS at the WL, huge decent meal.....for a really hungry morning, we like boating over to FW, Trails End buffet......character meals not so much anymore unless the granddaughter is along....and another great one, Kona Cafe.....we don't like traveling too far for breakfast but those places are close to our resort with easy transportation.....I could never survive the day on an in room pop tart or granola bar....breakfast is the most important meal and after a hearty breakfast, no lunch is required, for us at least....

Kona Cafe-press pot coffee & Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes :worship::worship:
Boma is also a must-do for us!!!!:thumbsup2

A decent in park choice is Sunshine Season's Food Fair in The Land pavilion in Future World at EPCOT.

They have quite a variety of decent choices.

For buffet breakfasts, another vote for Cape May. One of the best kept "secrets" on property.

Oh, the Boardwalk Bakery has decent breakfast sandwiches too.

we love breakfast and our favourite is definitely Boma. We do also love Crystal Palace, CRT, Ohanas and Akershus but now the kids aren't bothered about the characters we tend not to go.

dont forget GF Cafe'. went last time and were very pleased with our meal.........we like Boma for breakfast also.

For a quick service we like Wolf gang Puck express and for sit down we like Kona

I was going to say Sunshine Seasons, as a pp mentioned. I discovered the Main Street Bakery in MK on my last trip and went back another morning because it was so yummy. I just like the way Disney does the croissant sandwiches better than any other place I've tried them. I also really like the food courts at the value and moderate resorts, too (don't know where you all are staying). Lots of variety, and as long as I can get a Mickey waffle and a piece of meat, I'm good!

Boma is a MUST
Kona Cafe and Ohana at the polynesian are good too.
And Cinderella's royal table is delishh and an awesome atmosphere:)

Boma it's a must for us. Good service and yummy too!

Ohana- breakfast potatoes are worth going for alone
Tusker House at Animal Kingdom- this is our new fav. Loved the food and you get to see Donald and all his pals.

Another vote here for Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House, this will be our must do ADR every time we go back. The food is lovely, the character interaction was fantastic and you are already right into AK :-)

I forgot something else. Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club is a great breakfast. They have a menu and a smaller (and less expensive) buffet. They have some kind of bread pudding with vanilla sauce and eggs benedict, that I would strongly recommend! It's not worth necessarily traveling to, but it's good if you are staying near there.
