I'm having a hard time deciding where to eat on our first night at BCV? We will be arriving early and will probably be grabbing lunch at Hurricane Hannah's followed by a milk shake at Beaches n Cream (we are on vacation!;) ). Our favorite restaurants are Jiko, Artist Point and Le Cellier. I currently have an ADR at Cape May (just in case we are tired), but, we would really like to have a nice dinner on our first night. I would like to try Yachtman's Steakhouse, Flying Fish or maybe even the Yacht Club Galley. Our group consists of DH, Me, 62 yr old, 13 yr old and 15 yr old. Just to give you an idea the 13yr and 15yr old love Jiko. I asked DH, but, he told me that I should pick :confused3 So, this is why I am asking a few of my 100,000 friends here on the Disboard. Where should we go?

I have only been to flying fish out of those 3. It is very good -- you wouldn't go wrong there!!

We enjoyed Yachtsman's Steakhouse and are planning to do it again soon!!!
The foods were wonderful and worth the 2TS or $$$, (however you're paying)

Personally.....We too are fans of Le Cellier and I would much rather be there than at the Yachtsman. I don't know if we hit the Yachtsman on a bad night or not, but the steaks were not as good there. The service on the other hand, was impeccable! Since you're arriving early and you are so close to the International Gateway, is it possible to go to Epcot and eat at Le Cellier? I haven't been to Artist Point or Jiko so I can't comment on them. I have heard a lot of good things about Yacht Club Galley and may try that on our trip in March.

I voted other because I vote for going to beaches and Cream for your meal. My family and I just love that place.

If not, I'd pick Cape may, it was good, especially if you like clams I guess (which I do not) there were sure enough of them on the buffet.

Funny, I didn't think Cape May would get so many votes. Can anyone tell me why cape May would be so popular?

I loooove Beaches and Cream, but, I think we would rather do lunch as it gets extremely crowded for dinner.

Thanks for suggesting Le Cellier, we already have a dinner ADR there for another night.

I voted Cape May. My family loves it there and it is especially convenient when staying at one of the Epcot area hotels. We will be leaving this weekend (my DH & I) and will be trying the Yachtsman Steakhouse for the first time as we have heard good things about it.:)

We ate at Cape may while staying at the BCV last September. it is a very convenient place to eat while staying there. We had good service and the atmosphere is fun and beachy.

DH found more to eat than I did. The kids ate pizza i think but they also liked it there. I'd eat there again.

We also like Jiko and AP and FF is right up there with those. We used to like YSH but it has changed a lot, not as good as it used to be. Cape May is at the bottom of our list after our last experience. It is a buffet and you will need to keep getting up to get your food. I also remember (even though I tried not to) comparing CMC seafood with FF and there was no comparison. Yes, FF is more $$ but worth it (plus I don't stuff myself as much). Jiko is our other favorite, even though FF & Jiko are very different themes, their atmosphers have a similar "feel" and both have the BEST food. AP is right along with them.:thumbsup2
