A few years back we visited WDW. After several days of eating out I was so glad to find a cart at Animal Kingdom that sold fresh fruit and cut vegies and other healthy snacks. Both of my boys have severe food allergies to wheat, peanuts, dyes, I could go on... Fresh snacks are really appreciated and worry free for us. We are going back for a second trip this christmas!!!! :woohoo: (staying at WLV - so I can prepare most of the meals :laundy: ) I was wondering if anyone remembers where the carts with fresh fruit, vegies and yogurt are typically located and if they exist in MK, MGM and Epcot too. What areas of the parks might I find them? It would be so nice not to have to pack snacks every day.

Thanks for the help!!!

There are lots of carts in the parks with these types of selections. I went to WDW last month and it seems that they have more than ever. Also, many of the TS places can work with special dietary needs.

staying on site many of resort counter service areas have fresh fruit. You can always stock up in the morning or afternoon before heading to the park.

I know in DH on SUnset Strip there's stand with fresh fruit and such. Plus there are other stands throughout the parks.

Just as an FYI - my SIL went recently and my 2 1/2 yyear old niece is alleric to nuts. My SIL siad when they went to TS meals they told the server my niece was allergic and the server would take the food off the table (rolls and such) and a chef came to the table to discuss how the food is prepared determine what would be best for my niece. They went to O'hanas for dinner and they have various peanut suyaces there and my SIL said they were very good about catering to my niece's allergy. In fact they were on the DDP and since my niece is under 3 she wasn't on it and could chre with my SIL & BIL. My SIL said in teh cases where they prepared something special for my niece to avoid her allergies, they weren't charged.

So if you decide to do any TS meals just make sure to tell them about the allergies and based on my SIL's experience they should make sure you get food that won't bother your children.

MK between the Hall of Presidents and the Haunted Mansion.

DHS on the left hand side of Sunset Blvd.

DAK In Africa, right before the entrance to the Safari.

EPCOT The Land Pavilion.

I don't know if you have a rental car or where you are staying (all Disney resorts except the values have refrigerators in the rooms) but if you can go off site and get the fruit you need, you can certainly take that into the parks with you.
