Where Do They Put The Luggage?

Since there are 9 of us we've made a reservation for a 10 passenger van. My question is where do they put the luggage???

There's usually space behind the rear seat where the luggage is stacked. Some overflow can also be wedged in around passengers, if necessary.

This should be interesting - since we are mainly adults and each will have at least 1 large suitcase, not to mention carry ons.

The vans that most use are 15 passenger vans. What they do is remove the rear seat, this knocks it down to a 10 or 11 passenger van. With the rear seat removed there is plenty of room in the rear for luggage. From the rear door to the back of the rear seat there is around 4 feet of floor space. Luggage could also be put under the seats if it will fit.

Are you talking about a shuttle service (such as FL Tours, Happy Limo or Tiffany)? If so, I have seen small "trailers" attached to the rear of some of the vans If I were in that position, I'd call to inquire/make special arrangements since you have so much luggage.

If you are renting a van and driving yourself, I'd be worried - there will not be enough room for all that luggage in addition to the passengers.

when I called up for the six of us to go to the airport with five bags, I was told we had to get a 13 passenger van because of the luggage. It was going to cost $80. It was cheaper to leave our car in the airport for a week that only cost $75.00. I would call again and make sure whoever you spoke to knew what they were talking about. Better safe then sorry.
