where do they get the people for the Disney dvd planning movie?

I was there last year when they were filming and a whole crowed was in the movie. I was watching the planning dvd and where do they get the people?

it depends. when u say the people do u mean the geusts at the park or the people that film the video like for example luke from the happiest celebration on earth planning video?

They often have casting calls in the Orlando area for actors to be in Disney commercials, etc. We've been called for several, but haven't been able to do them for one reason or another. Recently, DD was called to do a commercial for EE. She had to turn it down because she gets sick on rollercoasters. Normally, there is no pay for these things. They let the people involved remain in the park for the rest of the day when the shoot is over. Since we have APs, it isn't that big a deal to us.

Soon, Erin can be seen on the new FOX comedy series, FREE RIDE, premiering in March, in which she is featured as the female lead, Amber Danwood.


Mark your calendars! FOX announced at a press junket today that FREE RIDE will indeed premier this March. After its debut episode which airs after a semi-final episode of American Idol on Wednesday, March 1, FREE RIDE will move to 9:30 on Sunday nights beginning March 12.

I'll have to set my TiVo for a Season Pass.

In the newest vacation planning dvd we got, the main host, Erin I saw her on an NBC pilot that is going to air some time this spring.

I don't know if I could handle a TV show with Erin. She was way too hyper in the free planning DVD.

Erin, here's some free advice: Cut back on the caffeine!

The actors are horrible and it jumps all over the place. If you've never been to Disney, the current video doesn't offer much in the way of concrete info. Disney needs to rethink its planning video.

My DS6 LOVES the planning video and watches it often, like it's a movie. He loves all the people and even drew pictures of each of them in the parks and they are now hanging on my living room wall!!

My kids even quote parts from the DVD (Jungle Cruise - "I want you to refer to this as a floating bench.")

My son loves it as well -- he calls it the Disney Movie. The people in the planning video don't bother me ... well, maybe Luke does, but the rest are fine. Lets face it, they're doing what they're told to by the director. There may be some ad-libing ("Birds are included in the price of admission") but for the most part they're working off a Disney-produced script. Their characters have been pre-defined and are obviously designed to target each segment Disney hopes to address: the young families with Stacey, the people who simply want to relax (Dave), thrill junkies with luke (get a haircut and a real swimsuit, dude) and "Ms Perky Disney Fun" Erin...

By it's very nature, the video is not supposed to give you the entire "Disney experience." If it did, would you feel the need to go? It's designed to wet your appetite, to get you interested, and to get you online with the Disney Travel Company.

you see people the thing is.....the video is FREE!!!! so uh i geuss u get wut u pay for!!! lol . but i liked it all the other videos were boring but this one was fun and exciting and thats just what they want u to think of it. but erin was a little hyper though .....but theres nothing wrong with that!!!!
