Where do they choose people to "open the park"?

I am heading to the parks for the day tomorrow for my 20/10 birthday (or 30 if you must) and I was hoping to get there early enough to try and be picked to "open the park". I know they do it at Hollywood studios and I am sure they do it at the others too. I really want to go to Epcot for the day and was wondering if they do the whole opening ceremonies thing there and if they ever pick people to help them open that park?? If anyone can try and answer before the end of the evening - that would be awesome.

Studios does not really have the spectacular of an opening, you'd get more bang for the buck at any other park... an dyou have to be there early, like around an hour before opening, they select a family at random... but usually it is a family that looks like a family.

Well that's crummy. It will just be my husband and I for once...we don't get many opportunities to go without our 2 year old. Any suggestions for getting picked over a "family"??

matching t shirts maybe... but in general it is someone with kids that gets picked
