Where do I start?

I'm a new DIS member - well, I have been following these forums for over a year but this is my first post. My DH and I took our first ever trip to WDW last August with DS, 6 and DS, 4 and are officially bitten by the Disney bug! Planning a trip for this fall for DS's 5th birthday (November 30-December 5) - crossing our fingers for a good RO discount or FD. We stayed at POP and other than disliking the crowded buses, we had an awesome vacation. Trying to plan our second trip is a bit more daunting - we would love to upgrade (been looking at POFQ or WL) - where should I start to get advice? TIA!

We're just the opposite of you, it seems. When we last visited WDW in Feb 2012, we stayed at POFQ. We are planning our next trip for March 2014 and want to star at POP.

POFQ was great. We're from the New Orleans area, so it was neat to see how they incorporated the New Orleans flair. The buses were fine, and we even took the boat one night to Downtown DIsney. We ate at Sasagoula every morning. My DH and brother even took a walk to the POR side to get some milk at their giftshop(it was bigger). Good luck planning!!

Sorry, forgot to add that we had even stayed at WL before my DD was born. That place is beautiful. If we could afford it, we would stay again. When we stayed at WL my DS was only 19 months old, then when my DD came along we stayed at POFQ,and she was 18 months old. Now my DS is 6 and my DD is about to turn 3!
