My two ds, ages 11 and 8 have informed me that they DO want to get autographs. I thought they would turn their nose up to that, and am delighted that they are want to do it. Makes me feel great, actually. I love that they are really getting into the excitement of going and feeling the magic! I've also been watching my 11 year old grow up so fast and it makes me feel good that I still have my "little boy" for a while longer.

Anyway, I really haven't been paying attention to where to buy these items. Do I buy them at MK? Is it a special type of book? Or do I just buy something here at home? Not sure what everyone does.

Thanks

conmama

They are available everywhere at WDW; at the park entrances, shops and carts and at your resort.

YOu can also buy them before you go but they'll be more expensive.

I have an almost 11 year old daughter and I know what you mean about watching them grow too quickly!
We just went in January and she was more into autographs than my 6 yr old which was fun.
We made our own autograph books before we left, fun craft to do together and they worked great. The best thing I did was buy three of the new Sharpie retractable writers. No tops to hassle with dropping, the pens are nice and fat which made it easy for the characters to hold on to. They worked perfect!

I was thinking of taking a tee shirt for them to sign for my dd.

As for t-shirts.. They will not sign them if you are wearing them. But will otherwise. You can purchase the autograph book at the orlando airport. There is a huge disney store there. For us it was our first and last shopping trips.

HTH!

If you buy autograph books and pens in WDW, you definitely will have no trouble finding them. Like another poster said, they're all over.

Where can I buy t before we go..
I just got back from walmart and No luck finding them there.
Does Dollar tree have them????

The walmart on 192 in Kissimmee had them and they were much cheaper than WDW. The pens were$1.95. I can't recall the autograph books as my kids at a notebook each.

My neighbors gave my girls cute light up princess pens that you can wear aroun your neck. We will go to the Disney Marketplace the night before we go to the park. where do they sell autograph books there? Do they have themes i.e. Princess?

The them books are more expensive as they are a 'photo/autograph book'. Meaning you can take a picture with the character and then place the photo above the signature. Last time I was at DL they were $15.00.

The regular autograph book were about $6.00.

I have only seen them at the parks. Not at stores. except the Disney store in the airport.

The blue autograph books with Mickey and friends on the front are now $6.95. The princess version is $10.95.

I got mine off of Ebay. I had to get 4 - got them from the same seller and she combined shipping. They were new in plastic and my kids love them.

I haven't gotten pens. I am leaning towards buying a box of fat crayons. Easier for the characters to hold - and if we lose one during the day - we'll have the rest in the box for later.

well I was looking to surprise my kids and Gifts of a lifetime offers special packages that can be delivered to home or to your hotel check it out!

I got some at the grocery store down there. They were only about $2 each and they had lots of different Disney ones.

The characters really make a fuss over the homemade books. I bought a mini clip board at the dollars tree(thery have them at Walmart too) and some disney stickers to decorate the clip boards. The girls decorated the boards on the plane. We clipped on blank card stock cut outs for signing(you could use any paper). After our trip we put together a scrapbook. Easy, quick and cheap! The retractable sharpies are also really good pens.

I bought mine on Ebay new in package the ones I would find at Disney. I needed 8 and got 4 that are green and say 2011 on the front and 4 that are gold and say 40th anniversary WDW. All of them have music that is activated by light so we will probably cover the sensor while at the park but will be fun when we get back home and the kids look through them. They are photo and autograph books. Paid $12.95 for 4 of them and $13.50 for 4 of them. Had them mailed media mail for $4.25. Now if we see characters before entering the park we are ready for it plus I pack each of the kids a gift sack for them to open when arriving at the resort.

I bought a spiral notebook of colored index cards and the colored click sharpies for them to sign. When we get home we are going to decorate a small photo album and put the picture with the character and then the signature page together.

BTW...my DD is 17 and this will be our last "family" trip before she goes away to college. I asked her what she wanted to do in Disney the most...or anywhere in Orlando and I would see if I could make it happen. Her response to me, "Mom, what I really love about going to Disney is meeting the characters...that's all I really want to do." Even at 17, the characters are still magic! :)
