Where do celebrities stay

I'm sure there's not one single hotel that all of the celebrities stay at. I'm assuming, though, that most celebrities would be staying in the deluxes.

Most recently, Britney Spears was staying at the AKL. But I haven't heard about any other celebrities in Disney.

Princess Dianna stayed at the GFR - She had a whole floor when we were there in 93. Bruce Willis stayed at AKL in the Asanti suite. I got to see Michael Jackson at Mousegears at Epcot - not sure which hotel he ws staying at.

I heard a rumor that Angelina Jolie (or Brangelina or whatever!) stay in the suites in Tahiti at the Poly.

Former IL Governor Rod Blagojevich recently stayed at the SSR, but I don't think he was upgraded from a Value.

I've seen John Travolta and Gene Simmons at the GF.
I remember a DISer posting live from AKL who later said that Eddie Murphy was there in the Royal Asante Suite (this was around the time that "Haunted Mansion" came out ) As a PP mentioned, Britney Spears was recently at AKL...
I have read that Sigourney Weaver and also Mel Gibson vacationed at WDW in suites at the Polynesian (more like 1980s/90s).
I remember seeing pics of Mariah Carey at the GF within the past year.
I think John Travolta has stayed at AKL too~

Former IL Governor Rod Blagojevich recently stayed at the SSR, but I don't think he was upgraded from a Value.

He might be staying out on International Drive now.

While GF is the flagship hotel, it isn't necessarily everybody's style. So even though they're celebrities, they're still paying to play/stay at the World, so I would imagine they would get a say in it.

It seems that a lot of celebrities stay at AKL. The last 2 times we went, the security at the gate was a lot tighter there than at any of the other resorts, and we saw a couple of celebs while touring the parks.

DL, as we all know, doesn't have quite the same options as WDW when it comes to staying deluxe. I would say the vast majority of celebs stay at GCH when staying on property here at DLR.

I think b/c of its relative isolation, AKL can really tighten the noose on security and for BIG stars (or high maintenance stars ) AKL can be a good choice for that reason. At the GF you have boats and monorails to deal with ~ people coming and going from all points... whereas at AKL there's pretty much one way in.
