Where do celebrities stay

Elton John was staying at the Boardwalk with us once. At the same time, I mean. Not WITH us. That would be weird.

When I was in Disney this year they had the opening of the American Idol at the Studios. Someone on the bus told me that Paula A. was staying at the Poly. I was staying at the Boardwalk Inn and a girl at the pool told me that Taylor Hicks was staying at the Boardwalk Inn in Con. So jealous!!!

My husband knows someone that used to work at GF & said Tiger Woods stayed there...he also said some of the celebrities were demanding...I guess extras like towels, pillows etc-

When I stayed at AKL a few years back Tony from Dancing with the Stars was there with his family. Most people seemed to leave him alone, but I did see a few people getting pictures with him and he seemed happy about it.

Ha ha, what a Goofy question! Everybody is a celebrity at Disney and as such, the CR is the obvious choice since that is where the most important individuals in our family choose to stay.

I saw Tiger Woods at the CR a few years back. Can't say if he was staying there, but saw him walking into the hotel from the pool area. I believe he was playing in a golf tournament at WDW.

A few years ago at the Contemporary my dad was in the elevator with Don Shula. Besides that we once asked a Cast Member from the Atrium Club Level floor at the Contemporary what celebrities have stayed there and they said in the past Tom Cruise and Rosie O'Donnell have stayed there. We also found out whenever Regis Philbin is at WDW he always stays at the Grand Floridian.

If you want to meet someone famous at WDW, I'd say you could randomly knock on the door of the top floor BLT Grand Villas some day. I bet they will be popular celebrity haunts.

Rob Thomas visits WDW each year the week after Thanksgiving (give or take a few days) and I belive he, his wife and his son stay at GF.

I would like to know....

How will anyone know when a celebrity is going to be at WDW & where they will be staying?

If you ask at the desk at the hotel will they actually tell you who is coming, who is there while you are or that they already left?

Will I have to take a guess if a celeb is around & just keep my eyes open which can get hard especially when the parks are crowded.

Quite a few celebs have stayed at the Poly.. apparently that's a favorite place to put folks who are there for some event or special occasion in the parks.. (ie: Christmas Parades and tapings etc)
