Where did you store your laptop at WL?

This may be a silly question...

We are bringing our laptop on our WL visit. I know WL provides internet service - but can someone confirm. Also, how much is it daily? I think I read 10.00 per day, is this correct?

Also, is there a place to store our laptop in the room? Is the safe big enough? If not, will they hold it at the front desk, or do they offer safety deposit boxes to hold it at the front desk? We've never stayed at the WL and I'm not at all comfortable about leaving it in the room. What does everyone else do?

Thanks and sorry if this is silly, but we just purchased this laptop and it was expensive! Want to protect our investment. We will also be bringing our digital Kodak camera with printer dock as well, so we can print our pictures as we take them. We will also want to store this as well.

We had my laptop with us while staying there in Jan and I just put it in one of the dresser drawers. We have taken the laptop with us on a lot of Disney vacations and have never had anything happen to it. We didn't use the internet so I can't tell you the price on that. You could always get a lock for the laptop. The safes are really small.

Yes, $10 a day is the correct price per day. You have to get a connection cable from housekeeping.

We take our laptop with us everytime we travel. We just push it under the bed, or put it in a drawer. I have seen on similar threads that there are locks you can buy to attach your laptop to a stationary object like the pipe under the sink.

As far as your camera equipment, it should fit in the safe.

We had our laptop with us in January at WL. We purchased a lock for it so we had it set up on the nighttable and just locked it to the bed frame.

Also, WL does not have internet, I believe possibly that at WLV you can get internet service but not at WL itself. We had to use dial up service through the phone. Each time we called out to connect we were charged $.75 from WL for the outgoing call.

FYI: pack an electrical extension cord and a long phone cable. It makes it alot easier when the laptop is not near an outlet or the phone.
