Where did you put your guest book if you had one?

We are having a book for guests to sign and write little notes, which I'm sure many people had. Where did you put yours? I'm not sure where these typically go? I am thinking either the place card table, when gusts first walk in, or the gift table?

Your wedding planner can help you with this, but usually it's somewhere near the door. Ours was on a table just inside the door to the Attic so you had to pass it as you came in. We didn't have a gift table because we knew no one was going to schlep gifts all the way to Florida for us! :teeth:

Thanks Lurkyloo, I will ask at out PS where the best spot to put it at ADH would be. Although we are not expecting any gifts we are thinking some of our guests may give us cards, so we were thinking of having a "gift" table with a card holder placed on it. Did anyone else have something like this?

I would definitely put it close to the door so that your guests will see it as they go in and out.

Mine was placed by the entrance to Ariel's on the left side of the place card table, we only had 20 ploace cards so the table would have been pretty empty if we didn't have the guestbook on it.

Yes, mine was with the place cards. We actually did self addressed.stamped postcards that were put into a bowl and my mom (I think-maybe our coordinator?) mailed them to us. Granted we only had 25 people which mainly consisted of couples so it only ended up being maybe 14 cards but it was cool to read them when we got home!

We put our guest book/wishes for the bride and groom on the place card table. I would say only 25% of the guests left a wish.
It is fun looking at them now

I just let my WP decide where it went. She had it placed outside the doors leading into the Whitehall Room and had white daisies placed all around it. It looked very pretty!

We had a small enough group that we just passed it around during dinner. All of our guests wrote us something special and it was easier for them to just fill it out while they were sitting ddown.
