I'm trying to find one for my daughter. I was out today getting jeans for my son so I took a look at what they had in Canadian Tire and Walmart but neither had any.

I checked 3 or 4 stores online and I'm not quite happy with what I saw but I may not have a choice.

Now I'm curious what everyone uses.

NoFrills , Zehrs or Shoppers. I like the PC brand best because other then the white space where you can write on them they are completely clear and they are sturdy.

Hi Hon FigmentSpark
I am going to highjack this thread for a minute,,,,I hope that's ok OP? Thank-you Disney Addicted.
My family had some time to kill in MK a few years ago.
We went to Tom Sawyer's Island.
Tom Sawyer's Island Pirate Photo Quest.
I gave the kids a list of 10 pictures they had to take with their phones,,they had to include themselves in the pictures.
The reward was Mickey Bars but you could use anything you want.
I can make you a list if interested (Kind of like a Pirate Photo Quest).,,just and idea and please feel free to say thanks but no thanks.
Hugs
Mel
What?

Just buy the Walmart or No Frills/Loblaws medium freezer bag size or amazon.ca amazonbasics quart size. You should get a box of 30 or 40 bags for under $4.

I occasionally make things for people to add a bit of magic to their trip and had seen FigmentSpark post in another thread that she was looking for something to do with her sons on Tom Sawyer Island. I hope that explains my post.
Regards
Mel

So pretty much ordinary zip-loc bags for everyone? LOL that's what we have used in the past as well. Does anyone ever uses these sturdier type looking bags and refill the containers that come with them? Is there any point to them?

Nope, not worth 20.00! If you're really wanting to be fancy like, dollarama has something like that. The bottles are a nuisance though if you're wanting to stuff in chapstick, toothpaste, hand cream etc...

Heck I even got caught short once when my bag ripped open so I just dumped it all in the bags they have at the security checkpoint in Pearson!!

I've picked up the bottles they have a Dollarama for a trip. I put my hair stuff into the bottle. They are a use one trip and done sort of deal. There are better quality bottle out there but these ones from Dollarama seem to do the trick. I still put everything into a medium ziplock. I used to make sure the ziplock closed, then I saw how other people were jamming them full and getting through. Now I just pack it until I can't cram any more stuff in and go. When I get to the gate I stick it in a larger ziplock (in case of spillage) and lock it up.

Ziplocks are a travellers friend. I always take a dozen or so of the large and medium size with me when we travel. I use them to organize socks and undies in the suitcase. I don't want people handling things if they decide to go through my suitcase. I squeeze the bags and get rid of the excess air. Helps to cram more into the suitcase.

Sorry I went way off topic.
