Where did you go?

University of New Hampshire -- Bachelor's degree
Bentley College (now University) -- Master's degree

I hate everyone went to college but me, went to Navy, where 90 percent of our pay check was spent on wine, women and song, but the other 10 percent we spent foolishly :guilty:

Navy counts, my friend. You probably learned a lot more than most of us too. :)

@parrothead365 had the right way to say Navy as a school term: Uncle Sam's Canoe Club school of hard knocks...US NAVY enlisted.

NSCC to Cornell, that's awesome! I graduated from Salem State College, back when it was a little commuter campus. Now it is Salem State University, enormous, and still expanding!

Thanks! The actual progression was EATI (AAS large animal science), 2 yrs. at URI (food science, didn't finish due to $$$), part-time at SSC and NSCC while working and living in Salem, then back to EATI for 3 semesters and 2 more AAS (food tech. and nutrition/dietetics). It was during that time that a classmate was applying to Cornell. He asked me if I'd edit his essays for him, and I said sure. The essays looked like they'd be fun to write, so I applied, too. OK, I am a geek, I admit it!!

:offtopic: While you were at SSC, did you ever go to Major Magleashe's on Washington St.? I worked there from 1979-1982.

Trent University (Peterborough, Ont.) BSc. majoring in Chemistry, then Ryerson University (Toronto) for Journalism. Now I work at the University of Guelph.

That's even more impressive! You were at SSC almost at the same time I was - actually, we overlap one year :) I didn't go to Magleashe's, but my mother's softball team did - I think they sponsored her team? She was really athletic, played ball up into her 50's (!!!) and they used to hang out there. There was a woman named Frosty on the team, remember anyone by that name? I wouldn't have been old enough in 1982, until that November, when I turned 18. I think the drinking age was 18 back then?

Started off at Ivy Tech, went to Ball State and then back to Ivy Tech, maybe I will graduate at some point in my life! All my kids will have graduated before I do.

University of Minnesota. Small branch campus for undergrad and then main campus for law school. In the dark ages.

I went to UMD, although I'm not sure if that's the small branch you're referring to? I guess it could have been Morris or Crookston?!

University of New Hampshire for both my undergrad and my Master's. 6 long years.

Seattle Pacific Univ. for undergrad
Azusa Pacific for both grad degrees
