Where did you get your Tag??

There is a lot of colourful tags here so I am curious to the stories behind them all.

Mine? Well, the first one was a custom title I made for myself, which the Tag Fairy colourfied for me (And my favorite colour to boot. I You TF!!!). I came up with it after photoshopping a Munchlax head onto an Aristocat body.

My second one comes from a thread I made awhile back. I asked people what they would like if they got the Genie treatment from Aladdin. The Pokemon Wish was to be my first wish...

My first one was a self-tag that the TF didn't colorize.

The second was from a Teen board thread about favorite YouTube videos; someone posted a Star Wars spoof and I said I loved it because I was an extreme Star Wars geek.

The third was from another Teen board thread where someone wanted to read about the case where the Virgin Mary was on a piece of toast and it was sold on eBay. I found the story and posted it, and when the person commented that "That was fast!" I replied "Google is my best friend. "

I was commenting on a thread on early marriages. My response was essentally "They can do what they want, but honestly, I'm 22 and I still kind of stammer when I hear a peer is getting married"

I just got my tags yesterday. The first one is recent,a thread about things you were addicted to. I am addicted to Chap Stick and that was part of my response.
The second one I am not sure about,might have been about someone asking about having their dog cremated.
ANd the last one is from a thread back in Jan. about football.If the Patriots go to the Super Bowl I make chili,this year no chili.

My first 2 tags were form those ENDLESS NIGHTS before we found out what the surprise was. I spent hours on here waiting for Ty and Company to announce the unveiling. I revealed some secrets I had. Anderson Cooper being #1, and then well, I had to go to the washroom, but was afraid to miss anything..

Last week there was a What do you call your cat thread, and I replied with Furby AKA Furbilicious.

I was here for years before I got tagged. You'll get some and it will be when you least expect it.

Mine come from several different threads.

One was about underwear and how we all call them something different, I call my underlillies.

One was about dogs pooping in other people's yards. I said that I wanted to make a sign and put in my yard that says, "If you don't let your dog poop in my yard, I won't let my kid poop in your yard."

And the other one was about perfumes that people don't like. I said that the perfume Vanilla Fields makes me smell like a candy apple.

My latest, "Maybe the memo didn't go out that the Tag Fairy runs away when the begging starts" was said last night on the tag donation thread by me when a bunch of posters were begging for tags and the TF disappeared. The problem is, the TF took away my "I'm the good girl of the DIS" and the Pinocchio nose in order to give me the new one. I'm starting to want me old ones back.

I got both of mine at the same time. I had a self-made tag that said something along the lines of me being tagless until the tag fairy found me.

LBelle and I were teasing back and forth on a thread and I wound up posting this picture to her:

So, the all knowing tag fairy let me know I had been found and referred to my bunny picture.

My first was self-made and colored by the Tag Fairy when she gave me my second, which is from a thread about coveting other people's tags. It was just shortly after I changed user names. After being tagless for over a year and 1,000 posts under the old name, I mentioned the two tags that I coveted and why and boom! Ended up with two tags relatively quickly under this user name.

The 3rd tag, of course, is from the illustrious Poo Watch 2006.

I technically had 3 Tagging incidents. I got the outsourcing laundry tag form admitting I hate folding & pay neighborhood kids to fold my laundry.
Then there was a tagging frenzy going on & someone asked me to explain what it meant. I then said DH makes me take his underwear out when I have people folding the laundry. I got tagged again in the same color.

I started a thread asking all the men to check in. I think everyone is female here. That thread lead to a lot of Tags for the men.
