"Where did you get those shirts?" An August TR, with lots of pics! Updated 10/28!

Great job on the TR, Nicole! :thumbsup2 I've finally had time to get back on the DIS and start getting caught up after my trip. A few random comments from all the installments I've missed - I also got totally dizzy/ nauseas on Forbidden Journey. I was fine the first time I rode, then we went back on by zooming right through the single rider line, and I just felt awful! Great ride, but I wished I'd had dramamine too!

SO cool that you and David were chosen to get wands in Ollivander's! :woohoo: We didn't go in because the line was huge, but if I were chosen, I definitely would have had to purchase the wand! :thumbsup2

Yay for getting a great room in Tokelau! That was the building I'd requested last year after much research, too... but we ended up having to move to another building since our original room was dirty. Gotta love the ease of transportation from the Poly to the MK and other resorts!

Looking forward to more updates when Photobucket is cooperating and you have a chance to post! :goodvibes

Oh snap! Photobucket is giving you trouble??? That really sucks

It was, I guess I just have too many pics! :rotfl:

That seems like its so far away.

Thanks for stopping by--i'm VERY familiar with your Poly TR as a matter of fact I read it again before we went on this TR :goodvibes Tahiti was going to be my second choice if they couldn't honor Tokelau but I was so happy they could, we had a great room location!!

And I'm working on the next installment now! Should be up within the next few days!

So I'm late to the party but all caught up.

First I wanna say I miss you! Are you coming up to NY anytime soon? :)

I really love reading TRs with you and David- you guys have such a great time!

I had yet to see pics of WWoHP and OMG I sooooo wann go! I am also insanely jealous of you staying at The Poly- I will do it one day!!!

Carry on.

I miss you guys too! I Miss new york so much, everytime I read your foursquare posts on FB, i'm like "awww! I wanna go!" I'm trying to plan a trip in March to either NY or Colorado (I know big difference) WWoHP is so much fun!! More poly pics are coming up!

We rose early the next morning for our first official full day at Disney World!! It was a beautiful but humid morning at the Polynesian, but we took our short walk over to Captain Cook's to enjoy breakfast.

Balcony shots!

I just loved passing this view every morning, I had to snap a photo each time we passed it!

We enjoyed breakfast and than headed back towards the TTC.

IMG_0427.jpg

I'm so fond of the memory walking to the TTC and jumping on the monorail to Epcot, its something we did quite a bit and I never grew tired of it, it felt amazing!

We passed Tokelau on the way to the TTC from the GCH

I think we left our bag in the room because we knew we were passing by on our way to Epcot

IMG_0434-1.jpg

We talked with a family on the ride there, they were staying at BLT and loved it!

IMG_0436.jpg

We made it to Epcot with 10mins to spare to the opening, and high-tailed it to The Land to score Soarin fast passes!! On our way back towards Test Track, we stopped at the Character Connection because it had little wait

We enjoyed walking on Test Track after that, and than David's favorite Mission Space!!

I took some dramamine before going on it, and what a difference! Normally I feel sick afterwards for a few minutes but that Dramamine sure helped!

We passed the Jammitors on the way to The Seas, we had to stop and watch, we just love them!

After our clamshell ride, we walked around the Living Seas spotting this hidden mickey and spending quite a bit of time in there gazing at fish and seeing Turtle Talk!

There was a diver on the ground floor demonstrating how divers communicate with each other under water--very cool!

IMG_0452.jpg

At this point it was past 11, so we stopped at Club Cool and headed to the World Showcase! We met up with Aurora in France, and saw Impressions de France (really boring compared to the only other show I've seen in the WS which is Canada)

but then we were hit with a mean downpour!! We sought shelter for a good 20 minutes, where we got into our first fight (hey it happens, we're still siblings after all) I think we were both just cranky and it was an argument about just walking in the rain, David wanted to carpe diem and I didn't want to walk in the pouring rain!! We stood in silence for a few minutes before it let up, and we decided to end our time at Epcot with a nice lunch back at Seasons.

After trying Salmon the night before I was feeling adventurous and skipped my usual chicken meal here--I got salmon and loved it!

We went into the best gift shop-Mouse gears for a little while before making our grand exit!

We took our monorail back--and it was a Tron monorail which David was VERY excited about!! We needed a much needed nap after a very successful Epcot morning!

If you love the vintage Epcot shirt now, wait until you see what he wore that night! The green one we bought recently in Epcot, but we found a collection of old Epcot shirts that belonged to my dad in the garage and he brought 2 of them along to this trip!

Great update! Your pics of the Poly make it look divine! I totally agree with you about Mouse Gears. it is the BeST! Siblings are bound yo fight.... I am impressed that this was your first fight! We had meltdowns by day 2!

So sorry it's taken me so long to finally get here!

I watched ALL week to try to catch the Tronorail, but I never got to see it =( It's great you guys did!
