"Where did y'all get those shirts?" Fried, Tie-Dyed, and Places Mickey Hides.

:lmao: I hope I'm not that bad yet...:rolleyes1

Hidden Mickey at Dollywood...

That appears to be in the Jukebox Junction or Imagination Section...I'll have to freak the kids out and point it out the next time we go down...maybe November. :thumbsup2

Looks like you've got a little "Tie-Dye" action in your Signiture.

Yes, it was when we left the Red's Diner and took a right....the handrails run up to the left in Jukebox Junction :)

And we are the crazy family that matches everyday at Disney, so we have 3 sets of tie dyes, 3 sets of airbrushed shirts and then a screenprinted shirt LOL The tie dyes are so fun.....but we only do them at Disney LOL

Love reading the trip reports :) thanks for sharing them.

So we Finished at Chef Mickey's

And of course we have to check out the Shops...
IMG_0452.jpg

Boy Found himself a Red Monorail Die-cast...he had been looking everywhere for it...and all the Parks and DTD Store had Black and Gold...Boy wanted Red...and I had told him that if it was anywhere it would be here. One of these days he might figure out Dad knows what he's talking about sometimes.

Funny reaction to our shirts...a CM puts on some Sunglasses from the Spinner before he greets us.

Several...are you all together? A bunch of I love that shirt.

Finaly we get done and go to the Monorail. We opt to skip the Poly for today as we will be back tomorrow and will probably check it out then...or later.

We do get off at the Grand. Go through the door and...I immediately felt out of place. Could be that the illumination just went up about 2000 Footcandles from our shirts...announcing that the Clampets had arrived...but there was just a different feel to the place. The Staff here were very friendly...but some of the guest...just seemed well bored and :snooty:.

Once I got over the fact that I was the Elephant in the room I started to take a few Pictures...mel and the Boys of course had to check out all the Shops.

I told Mel I was going Down Stairs and that there was another Store. Sometimes the "rich" can be funny in how they dress. there was this older lady...maybe in her 50's. I'm certain she thought she was pretty in those jeans that probably cost more than my entire wardrobe. I swear I almost started laughing out loud. They were Pinkish...way too tight...the sides of the legs were open the whole length held together with straps and rhinestone buttons...Highheels... Tiny had came down with me and he was staring like a Deer in Headlights. :lmao: After we were far enough away...we both started laughing.:laughing:

I was going to go outside and look around but it had started raining pretty hard...heck even the plants had Umbrellas out...
IMG_0419.jpg

Well we had eoungh of the GF...probably for a lifetime...pretty place...just not us...even if we were rich...wouldn't be us. Might come pack for a meal sometime...but I think there's plenty other options.

As we went back to the Monorail the rain was a little horizontal...When we got off at the MK we were thankful that we were under a shelter...the Rain was misting so bad I didn't want to take out my camera...but the entry area was Flooded...I'm talking up to peoples Knees flooded...seemed like Main Street USA was floating toward the Seven Seas Lagoon...and it kept just pouring for about 15 Minutes as we watched people scramble here and there. (Was that Pooh Floating by in a "Hunny" Pot.) Finally it stops...it doesn't just slow down...it Stops...weird. :confused3

We have to goto the Package Pick-up place to have our items from the Contemp. and Grand sent to our Resort...they wouldn't do it from the resort.

After a sweep thru the Emporium we head to find a the Castle Photopass Photographer. I find him and I asked the stupid question...are you the Castle Phot Guy...he looks at his camera...then the Castle...then back at me like...here's your sign. duh. :headache:

Now we head over to Tomorrowland...

Next: Tomorrowland...rest of Day 9

Dude, you're messing with my head here. All that talk about rain and clouds, then I see this picture with heavily overcast skies, but what I can only assume is the Sun on the bottom of the frame. I can't tell for sure, because my momma always taught me to never look at anything that bright!
:lmao:

Guess I could have put a Eye protection Warning on the last 2 posts...
:cool2:

Sorry no Welder's Helmet smiley.

LOL, love your description of the GF. We felt the same way......I mean we are kind of, ummmmm....how do you say it.....'southern' LOL But still, we like to enjoy our vacations to Disney and love matching shirts, wearing the pins, doing all the silly chatter with the CM's on rides...etc. When we rode the monorail and it stopped at the GF, a family got on and gosh, we felt like the hired hands LOL

I like your surprise. Character meals are so fun, I think I enjoy them even more than my kids do.

great update nate, i have stayed away from the last few pages incase someone found the mickey, well, i gave up, good job freezin!!:thumbsup2:lmao: i hate to admit it but we always find it funny over at gf also!:lmao:you almost have to ask them,"did you look in the mirror before you walked out the door this morning and did you happen to turn around and look!" i have nothin against people who can wear stuff like that, but man, 90 percent of the people who think than can, shouldnt be!!! cover it up!!!,i just ate!!!:lmao:

My husband feels the exact same way! I've been trying to get him to visit the GF to go to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and he refuses. He said after our one and only visit to the resort he never wants to step foot into it again.

Great update, we went to CM a couple of years ago and loved it. My boys were 6 and 8 and really got in to it. Character interaction is fun and they have time for everyone. We went for dinner and the food was pretty good. I actually convinced my younger son to kiss Minnies nose for a pic. very cute, I will try and post when I am at home.

Great pics and love the shirts,

BTW, Were you guys together?;)
