Well we had just dislocated some Hip joints and had a mild case of whip lash by riding Primevil Whirl...and our time for Everest had arrived.
2006 was our first trip to AK and Everest had just opened...Tiny wanted to ride...everyone else was too chicken but me and my Brother's Wife. Sadly Tiny was too tiny to ride...so it was me an SIL.
2007 Tiny wasn't as tiny and got to ride with me and my wife's sister "Hagatha" and her husband "Big Al"
2009 We convince Mel and Boy to ride...boy he doesn't like Rollercoasters that much...Though he's like Space Mt...He liked Big Thunder Mt. the other night...so he was brave enough to give it a try.
We get a car about a 1/3 of the way back...I tell you what...I've noticed the best seat in most of Disney's coasters is in the very back...anyway when the chain grbs hold of the train for the first big climb...pop!!!! Well that just realigned our backs from the Primevil Whirl...I think my hip went back into socket too. Cool...I really like the part where you go backwards...I always wonder what safety mechanisms they have to insure the track get switched into place...being in the controls business...I'd love to see the inside of some of these rides. When you stop going backwards...and if you ar in the very back...probably the front too...you can see the track switching...a 8-10 foot section of track actually rotates to a new set of rails curving to the right. pretty neat if you get to see it...I didn't see it this ride...but back in 2007...when me and Tiny we're in the rear seats.
We get done with Everest...and we decide to catch It's Tough Being a Bug...my favorite thing about this show is the walk in....getting to se parts of the Tree up close. For some reason the 3d in this show isn't as good as Philharmagic...And I always remember to lean forward when the Wasps attack...as I don't like getting poked in the back... Then we head back to Pizzaffari to grab us a seat for the Jammin' Jungle Parade.
Here's some Pics of that...
Then we Head down to the Lion King Show...I stop at the Ice Cream vendor and grab another one of those Pineapple Bars.
We get seated in the Elephant Section... only one of my Pictures turned out good from the show...and of course his eyes ar shut.
This is a really great show...so if you haven't seen it...then go.
Now it's time to ride the Saffari...
We must have had the most boring driver ever...like a bizzaro cross between Ben Stein and Walter Mathow... anyway most of my Pictures were too blurry...but look who was awake...and we were stopped infront of him for a long time...
Funny thing is...our driver says...your lucky he's awake...because Lions spend most of their day sleeping...just then as if on cue...The lion goes "flop" he's gone to sleepy town...
Here's who was blocking the Road...
Nice Rhinos...please don't charge our bus.
Anyway we make our way back to catch Nemo...but we tak our time... as we have an hour to kill...I tak a Picture of the back side of the Tree...
Then we stop at the Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe (Counter service) We all get the Chicken fried Rice...yummy.
We get to Nemo...and close for technical difficulties...This happened to us in 2007 too...whats so technical about some flippin' fish...

I'm starting to thin Nemo doesn't like us...they also say no shows for EMH's...oh well.
Gotta go...big thunder storm...power surges...next installment...EMH in AK.
