I need help
In 2004 I booked a airboat excursion for my family online.
It was a all inclusive package. i paid a depoist here in the uk, then paid the rest when we was collected at hotel on internatinal drive. it was a large coach and we collected others from around the orlando area.
all the food (hot running buffet) and drink (soft drinks & alcohol) was included and 30 minute airboat ride in the dark.
Now the place was quite a drive if i remember, i recall a long dirt track, because i commented on been a little concerned as we seem to be in the middle of no where.
(i seem to remember while on the boat us speeding the lenght of what seems like a large bridge/wall)
the building was like a local american style bar, bikers and locals was there! the opposite the pub/tavern/bar was a wooden landing where the airboats were.
we went inside and was sitted in a section of the bar where the running hot buffet was, and people came around filling our drinks, a children ballonist was there to entertain the children. we was checked of list and given our time to board the airboat.
we had a fantastic night, and arrived safety back home well after midnight!
i am desperate to know where this was, so i can take our friends this year!
