We are going to Disney World a week from tomorrow and my son (5) really wants to meet Peter Pan.

Anyone know when/where we can meet him? We are going to the Pirate/Princess party and I thought he might be there.

Thanks! pirate:

We saw Peter Pan and Wendy when we were heading to the POC ride by the Tiki Room...have a great trip!!!!

A couple years ago we did the Family Magic Tour, which is more like a park-wide scavenger hunt than an actual "tour." It was LOADS of fun, fairly inexpensive, and at the end we had a private session with Peter Pan and Wendy for about 30 minutes! After an autograph session, they escorted the tour group (us and 2 other families) to the Peter Pan ride, where we skipped the lines and got right on the ride. DD rode with Wendy and had the time of her life. Well worth the extra money (and I'm a penny pincher).

*Disclaimer: There is no guarantee you will get to see the same characters. They are subject to change. However, every review I have seen of the Family Magic Tour says that the people met Peter Pan at the end of the tour, sometimes alone, sometimes with another character.

The best place to see Peter Pan and Wendy is near the POTC gift shop, in Adventureland.

I recently asked this same question, as Peter Pan is the only character my 4 year old grandson wants to see.

I was told that Peter can be found near the POTC ride, past the gift shop, by the restrooms, near the walkway to Frontierland.

Before you leave check out "pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares". Do not put "www" before the site search, it doesn't seem to work if you do. This site will give you a list, for the week, of where and what time the characters will be at different places. I was also told to check out www.intercot.com/infocentral/characters/wheretomeet.asp. I believe it basically gives the same info re: meeting the characters.

Good luck,

Karen:)

Thanks so much everyone.

Karen - thank you for the website address. I'll check that out and hopefully we can meet Peter Pan.

This happened on the Disney Cruise but I just have to share because it was so funny!

On one of the last nights (I think it was #6) there were two teenage girls walking through the picture gallery. Peter Pan was running through the halls and as he passed these girls he yelled at them, "Hi Tina and Julie from Georgia!" and they yelled back, "Hi Peter, from ..." and they were a little confused. Without missing a beat and yelling as he ran he finished the sentence with, "NEVERLAND"

It was hysterical. And so Disney-esque! That really made an impression on me how these actors really do stay in character whenever they're out in public.

Thanks for the website! Will definitely come in handy!

When we were there in March the little character spot brochure said he would be in Adventureland by POTC. But they changed his location, and we met him right in front of the Peter Pan ride. (but Peter pan ride was closed for refurb, so maybe that is why) anyway, just wanted to point out that they aren't always were they say they'll be.

DS turned 4 while we were in Disney last June and on his birthday he insisted on dressing up as Peter Pan. After breakfast at CP we headed round to POTC to see Peter Pan - he's just to the left as you enter frontierland. Anyway when we arrived the CM told us the line was closed and asked us to come back later. We explained this to DS but he was very upset. We took him to sit on a bench and were explaining it was ok - Peter had to go back to Neverland to see the lost boys but he would be back later and we'd see him then.

Peter had to walk past us to get to Neverland and when he saw DS sitting on the bench he ran over to say hello. He was really nice to him and asked him to come back to have a special photo taken with him when he came back. DS cheered up instantly and Peter was fantastic.

When we went back to see him Peter was looking out for DS in the queue and waved and shouted saying I knew you'd come back. He had a few photos taken and Peter and Wendy sat him in the nursery window for a special photo. Wendy then noticed that the feather in DS's cap was broken. She pointed it out to Peter who ran into the POTC shop next to us and got him a new feather for his hat. DS is very proud of the feather he got from Peter Pan and he felt really special.

I love the characters who can talk as they make such a fuss of the kids.
