Where can I get public records of the cars I previously owned?

Well, if it's "public record", what good is the information for verification purposes? Why couldn't I obtain that public information, provide the answer, and be you?

I don't know. :confused3 I do know they try to mix up the multiple choice questions a little. Like there were usually 2 answers that contained some of the right answer, but something was off in one, and the other one was the completely right answer. OR, that both answers contained a little real info but both had a detail that was wrong.

I guess they figured a thief might get rattled and only half listen. Whereas, the real person somehow has all this trivial info stuffed into our heads and we'd recognize immediately what the right answer would be. :headache:

Plus, each time, they ask about FIVE security questions. Say I got the car question & the bank date question wrong, things are not looking good for me.

A general PSA from all of this: Go to your bank and ask them for the info when you opened your bank accounts & file it away to have on hand. You never know when you will be asked it. When I ended up going to the bank the next morning, I asked for the info. Now, with my bank's recent merger/takeover, I no longer know what the correct answer is again.

No different than any other generic security question. Many people may know your mother's maiden name, you first pet's name, the name of the street you grew up on, the elementary school you went to. About the only thing with any potential for secrecy is a PIN or password.

I was once asked which car I had prior to March 2018. Problem was all of the choices were correct, but there was no "All of the above." Then next I was asked which license plate number was correct. When I failed this first series of questions, I was then asked which was my the name of my first street I lived on. I was 78 when I was asked this. I feel the time has come for us to go on the warpath against these security questions and be allowed to give PIN or password instead.
