I can't seem to find it or the horese & buggy rides..Anyone have a link or any info on proces, tomes, etc. thanks

They do have the ice skating back at Universal this year. The cost for the ice skating is:

$10.00 if you need skates
$7.00 if you have your own

The ice skating is located at the bottom of the amplitheatre area in City Walk and will be there until 2/15/03.

LOL! People in FL own ice skates?

Hi Bob! Are you keeping MsDis' kids in line?!

No that is MIB's job now nhrenee. I'm guessing that they are expecting everybody from the north to bring their skates here to FL in hopes that they will find ice somewhere.

I know it sounds strange, but there are people who do own their own ice skates. They have indoor rinks. My friend who lives near Tampa takes lessons a few times a week.

I don't think I'd bring my skates with me on vacation though. They take up too much room in the suitcase. Especially if you are packing for a family.

Can you imagine, security checking that bag with all of the ice skates. Bringing a case full of skates to Florida might make security a bit suspicious. :smooth:

WEll, since we do have national hockey teams in florida, I guess we would have to have arenas for them to play in !! LOL
My son has gone to a few birthday parties at ice arenas down here and it is a blast. I even skated after 10 years down here, and its like riding a bike. Almost!! A little pricey though, and for the kids to play hockey - forget about it-- very very expensive!

MY KIDS SPENT THE $10.00 EACH!! What a waste. It's bumpy and hardly any room to skate. They wished they had spent the $$ going to the movies instead since they had the choice.

Too bad it wasn't more fun.
Any idea how the heck they keep the ice frozen?
