where can I get glow sticks/bracelets?

I have purchased these in the past and some have almost no glow..

Will need around 30... so the cost should be low... but maybe if I pay more I would get a good glow?

How can you tell ? certain brand ?

we always get them from the dollar store. Some do end up being partially duds but for the $1 you get 6+ of the thin ones.

I've also gotten singles of the regular glow sticks on clearance in the party section at walmart - which had a great bright glow.

I buy glow things from the dollar store all the time during the summer and I have never had an issue with their glow. The ones I bought at Michaels in the black tube were horrible, half worked and half didn't. This was a few years ago, but I haven't bought them from there since because they were that bad.

I bought some a couple years ago from AC Moore and they were awful. More than half were duds. I just bought 3 tubes of 15 for a dollar each at Target but I haven't tried to activate one yet so I can't vouch for glow. (Bracelets)

Target also has them in the Dollar Spot - 15 bracelets/pack and all of ours were fine (we had 2 tubes).

I just bought some from Dollar Store for my friend who just turned 40! she was having a party on the beach, I even got her a wand I believe had a glowing star on the end of it

At the gas station store, I saw a whole rack of glow sticks. They came in tube packages and had 10 in each. You could check there, but the dollar store usually has them.
