Does anyone know which lodge has a room that will fit 6 people (2 adults, 9 yr old, 6 yr old and 2 yr old twins)?

Can I put all of us in the Animal Kingdom Lodge deluxe (queen, day bed and twin). We've stayed in 2 standard rooms there before, but looking for some place we can all stay in one room.

Thanks all.

I'm only speaking from "phone" experience, but we have 6 too and I was told that any room would accomodate us as "5 plus an infant 2 and under." Doesn't mean we'd be the most comfortable, but it may help to know how (I was told) the Disney folks look at it.

Our family of six now prefers two rooms, actually its the two bathrooms we like! But another option would be the cabins at Fort Wilderness. They have a bedroom with double bed and bunks and a pull down murphy bed in the living room with a regular mattress, not something flimsy.

This is where we stayed when our kids were young and it was great. It's like a little house trailer with a full kitchen and all the amenities, including maid service.

One other thing, mrbobwright, if you decide to go with one room, the Contemporary has the most square footage of any rooms.

other options include the cabins at Fort Wilderness and villas at WL,BWV,OKW. I think the Bungalows at DI have 2 queen beds and a sofa if I remember correctly. We have also stayed at the treehouses when we have a group. 3 bedrooms,2 br,lr, kitchen, laundryroom. All are very nice.

Other option we have used for groups of 6 are ; cabins at FW, 2 bedroom villas at OKW, BWV, WLV, bungalows and treehouses at DI. All gave us plenty of room and all but the bungalows gave us a kitchen. The villas and treehouses have the added bonus of 2 bathrooms. IMHO the AKL and WL rooms are pretty small for 6 people.

We had the best time at the cabins. There is so much for kids to do at the campground, hayride, sing-a-long, movies, petting zoo. The transportation was excellent and it was nice not to have anyone right on top of you. The bedroom has bunk beds and full size and the LR has a full size murphy bed. We could put the kids down for a nap and still be able to sit and talk or watch tv. We saved money by being able to eat breakfast in the room and having a fridge for snacks and drinks.

A deluxe room at the WL would also fit 6.
There is 2 queen beds and a sitting room with a sofa bed. You can also get bedrails for the beds.

I am not sure how the deluxe room at AKL is set up.

I would also think that the WL would be a better choice than AKL even if it's just for the boat transportation to the MK.
