where can I find Tinkerbell?

DD who is 2 suddenly started telling me that she's going to see Tinkerbell. I'd like to try to find her! Doesn't she come out of the castle or something when Wishes is about to start???

SHe flies overhead from the castle, over the Tomorrowland bridge, toward the back area of Main St. at the beginning of "Wishes. Stand in the rose garden area or on the Tomorrowland bridge and she will go right over your head!! I don't believe she does "meet and greet" anywhere......P

Also, there is a store in Fantasyland (don't know which right now) where if your DD is the first one there in the morning she can "wake up Tinkerbelle." Search for the "Your best WDW theme park secret" thread to find out more about this.........P

the store pjlla is talking about is called Tinkerbelles Treasures or something like that and is located directly behind the castle as you enter into fantasyland on your left.

if you are the very first person in the store when the park opens you can have the pleasure of "waking up tink". If you aren't that lucky, you can watch her by her trail of pixie dust as she periodically flys around the room. (neat effects - but don't expect to actually see her, just her trail of illuminated pixie dust)

i agree that your best shot of seeing her before wishes is to stand off the right of the main circle, preferably on the walkway leading to tomorrowland. (in that rose garden area that was mentioned before.)

they have added greatly to the tink merchandise available in most of the stores in the last few years as well.

Also, if you meet and greet with Peter Pan, sometimes he will be carrying the lantern "with Tinkerbell inside". Of course, you can't see her, but the lantern shines very brightly and my just-turned-3-year-old was very taken with Peter and Tink!!

We saw Peter Pan last week by POC-- closer to the restroom entrance.

You can also see him in front of the castle after the Cinderella surprise celebration show each afternoon. Most of the characters in the show come down for meet/greet afterwards. I always saw Peter, Hook, and Smee down on the cirlcle in front of the castle...left hand side....as if you were heading to adventureland and/or fronteirland. Unfortunately can't remember if he had the lantern with him at that time.

Our best encounter was on the Grand Gatherings Magical Fireworks Cruise that you can do if you're part of a large group. It was FABULOUS! Hook and Smee are at the dessert reception before the cruise, then you cruise and see the Electric Light Water Pageant and Wishes (with music piped in!!), on the ride back the Pirate reads the story of Peter Pan, and when you're close to the dock you hear Peter's "****-a-doodle-do!" and turn to see him waiting for you on the dock!! So Cool!! And he has Tink in her lantern with him, too! Does a meet and great with each family, pictures, etc. My DD was absolutely star-struck!! It's the only time I've ever seen her absolutely speechless

kadaten, thanks for the info. On our last trip, we kept meaning to check out the show in front of the castle, but we never got around to it. We'll do it this time for sure.

It sounds like the Magical Gatherings Fireworks cruise was awesome. Unfortunately, we only have 6 in our group, so we don't qualify. I'm glad your DD had such a great time.
