Where can I find Tarzan?

Please help! My daughter just turned 4 and LOVES Tarzan. (Yes, we even had a Tarzan cake at her party!). We're going back to WDW at the beginning of September and she is heartbroken that Tarzan Rocks has closed -- it was her favorite show. Does anyone know if there's anywhere else we can find him? Thanks!

We saw him at one of the character signings last year, during the MNSSHP. I cannot remember exactly, but I believe he was back by the POTC ride, somewhere in that general area. Probably doesn't help you though, unless they have a MNSSHP on one of the days you are there.

Check with guest services. They can usually tell you where and when a character might appear. If you live close to NYC, Tarzan is now on Broadway.

Both my DD's too, absolutely love him!! They are nearly 4 and 6.... I heard that sometimes he makes an appearance near the Jungle Cruise in MK @ MNSSHP... I'm hoping so as they really want to meet him!!!!

Thanks! I actually checked into seeing Tarzan on Broadway, but I couldn't justify the air and ticket prices for the show. We lucked into a $39 each way fare to Tampa, so WDW is a lot gentler on our travel budget.

Kldmom2000 -- we'll be at WDW Sept. 2-6, so I'll PM you if we see Tarzan. I'm glad to know there are other little girls out there that love him as much as my daughter!

We saw Tarzan last year at the Halloween party near the Jungle Cruise ride. Unfortunately, my camera battery chose that moment to die, so I have no pictures to share! But I did meet him and Jane together, which was pretty cool.

Tarzan is a tough one! We only found him near the Jungle Cruise ride at MK, but that was a special location for the Halloween parties. I heard of very rare appearances of him at Animal Kingdom, either by his old show or in the front of the park between the bag search and the turnstiles, where there usually are some characters. But he takes some pure luck to find! You could ask at Guest Services if Tarzan is out, but sometimes they have no information on rare characters so they always tell you "no".

Probably won't see him, but hey - you never know who could pop up sometimes! Good luck!

Thanks!!! I'd really appreciate it! My girls watch the Tarzan DVD's continuously and I'm so bummed that we never made it to Tarzan rocks when we went 12/04 before it closed

Wow, we've never seen Tarzan out...as my sister said, "Tarzan Rocks!"

She said she'd pay extra for a Tarzan breakfast - assuming he was at least equal to the Tarzan who was in the show....
