My ds is a big Jo Jo's Circus fan. I'm thinking about going to the H & V character buffett, but havent heard very good things about it lately, so was wondering if there's anywhere else we can see Jo Jo. ANyone know?

Hollywood and Vine also has a character meal with them at MGM.

Edited: Just like you said in your post, had I read it. I am doing that a lot lately. :rolleyes1 Must be due to the fact, we are going to Disney in 76 days.

We went to the lunch 2 weeks ago. I thought the food was as good (or bad depending on your prospective) as any of the other buffets. The character interaction was great. DD loved the little "parties" they did every half hour.

As other side, the trailer is your other choice. Just be for warned, they don't seem to stay out long. Two trips ago, the "closed the line" based on greeting time before the characters even came out,

We just went this past weekend, and the characters from Playhouse Disney seemed to do about 15-20 minute rotations.

When we first came down the street, June was out from Einsteins, so we got in that line, then over to JoJo. Goliath wasn't out with her at that time. We turned around and walked in and got Mickey's pic. Came back out and Annie was now out instead of June, and Goliath was out with JoJo. There were NO LINES, so this was at most 15 minutes. Got Annie's, then ran over to Goliath ... and that was it. They seemed to be out for the rest of the time, we were in the area. We saw Walt's Dream, and still they were out. And still, no line.

I was told that Quincy was out earlier that day, but that Leo is hardly ever out b/c he's doing the character dinning.

Hope that helps

We just returned and went to H & V -- the food was good -- nothing great but I have to say the character interaction was the best we had ever had at a meal -- so don't count out doing this meal. THey sing and dance about every 10 minutes and my dd 4 danced with Quincy during one song and Jo Jo another!

Other than that just like the others said they are at the trailer in MGM. We were there when it was quiet so they were even roaming the street trying to get people into their line!

Hope that helps. LMK if you have any other questions about the H & V.

We did H&V last week. It was great and one of my kids favorites. The food (breakfast) was good. My kids loved the hashbrowns. There was plenty of interaction with the characters...so much so that Goliath wouldn't leave - we finally had to say ok Goliath we are leaving now LOL. They even did a cute parade around the restaurant. We will definitely do it again next year.

H & V was fun for us, we went for the Little Einsteins. I don't really remember much about the food except it was plentiful. Character interaction was great however and that is what you are mostly their for anyway.

I just went 2 weeks ago for lunch and it was the best. Food was hot. I didn't care for the adult food too much but I loved the kids choice which is what I ended up eating. I'm not too picky so the kids food was fine. The character interaction was awsome. June took the kids food orders and was teasing them about it and my kids danced all around with JOJO. I would do this one again in a heartbeat. I had free dining and we ate at a lot of places and this was one of my favorites. Hopes this helps.

I have to agree with the others who posted about the dining at H&V, we were there a couple weeks ago and I thought it was great. Food was good, and the character interaction was the best. My kids were up and dancing, doing the parade around the room, characters spent a lot of time with us. I would say it was the best character meal we had as far as interaction. If my kids are still into JoJo and Little Einsteins I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again on our next trip.

I will echo the above comments and say it was great - JoJo and Little Einsteins are my kids (DS5&2) favorites.. I snapped multiple shots with them - they danced around every 15 min or so, it was not very crowded..

Food is your regular disney buffet thing (and I believe it was chicken nuggets, mac&cheese, and spag/meatballs for the kids)

Leo came around and played 'pat pat pat' to lift off the rocketship -
Jojo danced around with my kids

We did H&V, Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace - and I would say they actually liked H&V the best
