Where can I buy Universal Dollars/Gift Cards?

My family would like to give the kids vacation $ for Christmas (usually they recieve Disney Dollars)- it really works out great- they love it in the spring when they have $ to spend..

However, I can't find anywhere to purchase the Universal equivalent of the "Disney Dollar"... I've been thinking about doing an American Express Gift Card, but I know my 11 year old will be fighting to use it on a new XBox game instead and then will be bummin in April!

So, is there anywhere I can get these?

The gift cards are sold at Publix but I highly discourage you from buying them. They are not used like credit cards. You can't buy things with them except park tickets. You have to go to Guest Services in the park to redeem the gift cards for Universal dollars. The Universal dollars can then be used all over the park though.

If you want to just purchase Universal dollars, you can't get them anywhere except at Guest Services at the parks. I'd suggest the Amex Gift Card myself.
