I'm looking for 1 oz bottles of rum, any brand for around a dollar each. Any ideas? Would love to order online, if possible. Thanks!:stir:

Any store that is dedicated to liquor should sell them. Shipping is a different story that varies state-to-state.

Be aware that while the TSA does allow you to take through security (though an overzealous agent might confiscate), it is against FAA regulations to drink it on the plane. Regulations say that any alcohol consumed on the plane must be served to you by one of the flight attendants.

Here's a TSA blog from 1/7/14 talking about it:

That being said, I'm taking some on my flight to Europe in a few months. I just won't be obvious about it.

All if our liquor stores sell them - a handful are $1, at the discount stores.

idk about online but i'm sure your local liquor store would have plenty.
i love buying the tiny bottles of liquor to sample different flavors.
a few years ago my friend and i brought a few in our carry on luggage and had rum n coke at the hotel one night.

Depends on your state. Ours typically have them next to the cigarettes in any store.

While the rest of what you post is correct, the bolded is not. All you have to do is hand it to the flight attendant and he or she will open it and serve it to you. It happens every single day.

Depends on the airline and their policies.

Thanks, I plan to put it in my checked luggage. They are fish extender gifts for the grown ups our upcoming cruise. ;)

Uhhh....

If I get you right, you plan on eventually taking these bottles on a cruise ship?

That is forbidden by every cruise line. They will be taken...although they will be stored until the end of the trip and then given back to you when you reach your final port....

That's if they find them, of course...:confused3

And, nowadays, most airlines will not serve you "your own alcohol," although first class passengers can often get that "treatment." But, since first class usually involves free drinks anyway.,...:confused3

Someone will chime in with a definitive answer....but I do think Disney Cruise Line does allow alcohol to be brought on. You just have to put it in your carry on bag.

Is that like something you leave on the outside of the door? Wouldn't that be problematic for anyone walking the halls to just take (as in ... anyone underage)?

Or is it like just-in-name-theory only type gift?

I admit I don't really know anything about it! :goodvibes

Yes, Disney does allow alcohol to be brought on board as long as you carry it on youself. I've researched it and have personally done it twice myself on previous Disney Cruises without issue. Part of why I ♡ Disney.

There are tons of threads on fish extender groups but in a nutshell there are cruise meet threads in the DCL section of the DIS where you can chat with folks who you will be sailing with b4 your cruise. Someone usually organizes a FE group for those who are interested. Those interested hang a fabric pannel with pockets outside thier cabin door and all deliver gifts to each other throughout the cruise. It's super fun. Love, love♡ Disney cruises.

Google it to see pictures. :)

It does sound like a terrible idea to put alcohol hanging on the outside of someone's door.

Wow, disney cruises allow you to bring on your own alcohol....Sweet....but then again, with the number of "kiddies" on the boat, it has to be sort of a "mental health policy." :rotfl2:
