Where can I buy airline size booze?

Any store that is dedicated to liquor should sell them. Shipping is a different story that varies state-to-state.

Be aware that while the TSA does allow you to take through security (though an overzealous agent might confiscate), it is against FAA regulations to drink it on the plane. Regulations say that any alcohol consumed on the plane must be served to you by one of the flight attendants.

.

Every liquor store sells them around me. The Buy Rite near me sells packages of them all wrapped up with about a dozen bottles. I don't know about buying online. The gift shop also sells them on propery but you pay 4x the amount.

I flew US air a few weeks ago and had no problem bringing the bottles. They have to be the tiny ones. Store them in a quart size clear ziploc. Take them out at security. We had no problems. I had visions of having to chug all the bottles for being denied. lol

It does sound like a terrible idea to put alcohol hanging on the outside of someone's door.

esp if they are Alcoholics

We do that "Dirty Santa " gift exchange at grandmas and it was NOT cool when one year a bottle of Liquor was one of the gifts (one relative is a recovered Alcoholic)

I found some... I went to a few places before I found what I needed. Online shopping is just so gosh darn easy. ;)

I have little bottles of rum for rum & cokes. Being on a Caribbean cruise, rum seemed to be the obvious choice. Arrrrggg!

if its for personal use, another idea is to buy the TSA empty bottles, and just fill them from your personal stash, just make sure you label it :rolleyes1
I may have made a smoothie in to a Daiquiri....)

There are tons of threads on fish extender groups but in a nutshell there are cruise meet threads in the DCL section of the DIS where you can chat with folks who you will be sailing with b4 your cruise. Someone usually organizes a FE group for those who are interested. Those interested hang a fabric pannel with pockets outside thier cabin door and all deliver gifts to each other throughout the cruise. It's super fun. Love, love♡ Disney cruises.

Google it to see pictures. :)

Thanks, I did google & dis-search them and it appeared to be exactly what you described....on the outside of the door. That is why I thought it was odd to leave alcohol out where anybody could get it. I admire the spirit of the op's idea though!

Thanks, I plan to put it in my checked luggage. They are fish extender gifts for the grown ups our upcoming cruise. ;)

We were given lil alcohol bottles for our FE on the Dream for our NYE cruise. One of our beat gifts we received! I packed them up and took on the plane for our ride home. Not a good flyer and always bring my alcohol with me in the oz containers and pour myself in OJ or soda. I was never aware this wasnt allowed but Ill be doing again in March unless Im asked not to do so.

Uhhh....

If I get you right, you plan on eventually taking these bottles on a cruise ship?

That is forbidden by every cruise line. They will be taken...although they will be stored until the end of the trip and then given back to you when you reach your final port....

That's if they find them, of course...:confused3

Actually most lines allow you to bring soda, water & a limited number of wine bottles.

(and have stashed rum runners & bladders of wine in checked bags a few times:cool1:)

DB thought he could bring 2 HUGE bottles of alcohol in his carry on on our RCCL cruise--THAT was a HUGE waste of $...hoping those port workers dug in the trash that day!:thumbsup2

Checked luggage is fine bringing alcohol - correct? I got some of the plastic .75 bottles to take with us to make a few cocktails in our room.

Wow, things I learn on this board! We are cruising in a few weeks and while I won't say I am cheap..I am frugal, lol. I now plan on getting some of the individual wine bottles to take along...I will pack them gently and put them in my checked luggage...thanks!
