Where at Poly is Kona Cafe located at? do i need ADR? Lunch or dinner?

I have never been to the kona cafe but after looking at some food pics of desserts, i really want to go there and get a kiddie cone. where in the poly is it at? should we make ADR for it, or do i need them?/

do you reccommend lunch or dinner??

any other info on it??

It's on teh second floor of the main building at the Polynesian. Lunch you can generally be accomodated without a PS unless it's a holiday timeframe, dinner unless it's a really off season a PS is suggested.

We had a FABULOUS lunch there (and have had many successful breakfasts). I have no doubt that dinner would be great. We always make ADRs just to avoid any shut-outs -- if you don't mind having to wait for your table, they will give you one of those light-up devices so you can wander around the Poly if you do forego ADRs and have to wait. Yup, second level, same level that the monorail lets you off. Enjoy -- it's a delightful spot.

We arrived at 5:30 one evening without an ADR and had to wait about 30 minutes. I would probably make one just to be safe.

December was our first time eating hear. The boards have always raved, and it did not disapoint. The food was FABULOUS, we went past to a large line, and got an ADR for a later seating, went to magic Kingdom for a couple of hours and had a SUPER meal. The seafood was excellant and the desserts were absolutely perfect.

When you enter the Poly, go to the left and go to the back where you'll take another left. Take the stairs up to the second floor and make a right. Kona is right there, near Ohanas. You'll enjoy your meal there- have fun!
