Hi we will be in the parks for 7 days in October and I am a salad junkie.

I am hoping for some recommendations from you guys as to where you love your big bowls of green?

Thanks

C

I like the Greek Salad at the Paradise Garden Grill in DCA. Also the Heirloom Tomato Salad and the Roasted Chicken Salad at Carthay Circle Restaurant. Napa Rose has nice salads. My sister is partial to the Chef Salad at the Plaza Inn and the taco salad at Rancho del Zocalo in DL. La Brea Bakery and Catal in Downtown Disney have nice salads, too.

Bread bowl salads at the Pacific Wharf in DCA - ours were very fresh You can get the bread bowl on the side.

Rainforest Cafe and ESPN both have nice salads with chicken strips. I give the chicken strips to the kids and enjoy the salad....:thumbsup2

I agree! I think Blackjackdelta mentioned it when I asked for food suggestions before my trip. I ate it during our trip last week. It was really good. The rest of my family loved the soup bread bowls too. There is also a very good salad at Boardwalk pizza & pasta. It had nuts in it...though I cannot remember the name right now.

I do also like the Shrimp Louie. It's tasty and filling too! I recently also tried the New York salad at the River Belle. Didn't like that one so much.

I had a Salad that I liked at Wine Country Trattoria as well. I can't remember what it was, but I remember liking it!:)

One of my all time favorite salads from anywhere is from the Riverbelle Terrace called Aunt Polly's Vege Medley Salad. It has everything on it including artichoke hearts, been beans, grapes, olives, feta cheese, and other goodies. I always order it with Ranch, which taste homemade. It comes with a roll, and is a meal by itself. Whenever we go to DL, this is one item I always find time to order. :goodvibes

I too like Pacific Wharf Cafe, but I get the salmon salad. It's very good and quite a good bargain. You get a nice large piece of grilled salmon.

One of my best friends is also a huge fan of the Shrimp Louie salad at the Pacific Wharf. She swears by it. And my personal favorite is the Hacienda Chicken Caesar salad at Rancho del Zocalo. They toss it right in front of you, so you can easily make special requests, like easy on the dressing. Good luck with your trip planning and salad quest! :goodvibes

The Chinese chicken salad in a sour dough bread bowl at the Boudin bakery (Pacific Wharf)!!! My all time favorite!!! Now my mouth is watering!

I had several salads last week during family trip to Dland. The best was Big Al's Chicken Salad at Hungry Bear - smoked chicken on top or romaine and iceberg lettuce with watermelon, candied pecans, dried cherries, pickled red onions, and honey-lime vinaigrette. It was a very refreshing salad on a hot day, and since they provided the dressing on the side, I was able to make sure it wasn't over-dressed.

I wasn't expecting much from the chicken Cesar salad I ordered at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta, but it was very tasty. It was a huge serving of crisp romaine lettuce with grilled chicken strips and garlic croutons and a surprisingly zingy dressing. I would definitely order it again! I also enjoy the salads at Napa Rose very much, especially the Smiling Tiger salad.

The PCH Grill at Paradise Pier Hotel has the most excellent salads!!! We always go there at least once when in DL. My favorite is the Crab Louie and let me tell you in is FANTASTIC!! Huge with tons of fresh crab, avacados, hard boiled eggs, yummy louie dressing, with fresh rolls and its around $10!! My husband has also had a salad there (I believe it was a chicken/southwest) and I remember he really enjoyed it and it was large and filling. PCH Grill also has the best homemade Mushroom Soup that is worth the trip down alone!! LOL :thumbsup2

The Crispy Tofu Salad at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel is really good, and a bit different than a "regular" salad. I also like the Greek Salad at Paradise Garden Grill.

The Boardwalk Field Greens at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta at DCA was delicious, large, and only $7.50, which I thought was very reasonable. I shared it with my daughter, and we both loved it.

This salad is TO DIE FOR. I am craving it RIGHT NOW. My husband and I split it and another meal and I was trying to convince him to not share..let me have the salad all to myself. No go. He loved it too.

I took pics and deleted them on accident..but it was just..YUM.

I love the Apple Walnut Salad at ESPN Zone, you can get it as a side salad too instead of Fries with an entree. :thumbsup2

My kids love the Asian Salad in a bread bowl at Boudin in Ca Adv. too.
