Where Are Your Favorite Places To Dine, And To Snack At Dl. And At DCA?

DH loves Blue Bayou. I love Cafe Orleans.

DH and I love dinner at Storytellers.

DDs love Goofy's Kitchen and the bread soup bowls from the Pacific Wharf.

The whole family loves Whitewater Snacks and fresh tortillas from the Mission Tortilla factory.

 The Riverbelle Terrace for breakfast! Love those Mickey Mouse Pancakes.

Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen (upstairs dining room) hands down!

My problem is I like too many places! But here goes. Main St.--I love the chocolate chip cookies from the Blue Ribbon Bakery, usually we stop at the bakery first thing in the morning for coffee, so I get one and put it in a ziploc bag for later. The rice krispy treats from either the candy counter or at Pooh's candy kitchen are so good, I usually get a few to bring home or to take back to the hotel room for later. Minney's character breakfast at the Plaza Inn is fun and the food is pretty good for a buffet. I also like to get a corn dog and find a seat somewhere along Main St. to people watch while I eat.

In Adventureland, Dole Whip or a DW Float and I like to sit inside the waiting area for the Tiki Room while I have that. I also like the bacon wrapped asparagus from Bengal BBQ.

You can't beat the atmosphere at Blue Bayou. It's truly an experience I love, but the last time I was there the service and food was lacking so I haven't been in a while.

The popcorn at Disneyland is the best popcorn I've ever had, hands down. I don't know if it's because I'm at Disneyland or what, but it's the best. Oh and the chocolate dipped bananas.

Lastly, I'd say my favorite dining experience is Club 33. The food was delicious.

I absolutely loved Village Haus, French Market, and Carnation Cafe on our last trip.

BB didn't have a long enough menu, and the kid's items were unappealing. I'm still pretty ticked off I paid $8 for a crustable.

Sorry if this is a silly question but what is a 'crustable' ????:confused3

Smuckers makes a pre made peanut butter and jelly round sandwich without the crust. This is what they serve at DL for some restaurants. I know at the Carnation Cafe the kids can make their own, with the crust and all.

Ok, weird. I posted after Wendy and it showed up before hers. Poor Wendy, this has been happening all day to you, hasn't it?

I don't get it! :confused3 Hopepfully they'll get it fixed soon. In the meantime, no problem.

BTW, yes they are called "uncrustables."

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I happen to call them crustables  Yes, I was talking about the uncrustables. The PB and J paint thing they have at Carnation is completely different - and so much fun! My friend's DD got it when we ate there.

I vote for the New England Clam Chowder in the bread bowls just right of the entrance to Pirates.

We have lots of favorites, if that is allowed. Also depends on what meal it is for. But I would have to say overall, our family most enjoys dinner at Plaza Inn on Main Street:thumbsup2 , we always have our last dinner their for each trip.

I dont have a fav yet at DCA because I havent eaten mayn places, and we tend to go to the same ones. I really havent been as impressed with their food as much as DL, but I do enjoy Pacific Wharf Cafe, dont know if it is the food, or the atmosphere (we are from the SF Bay Area), so it is "home away from home" for us. The reason I dont want the replica of the Golden Gate Bridge to leave. Its like a bit of us in the park!!

You know I feel so much pride when I walk under the Golden Gate Bridge. It just seems so special.

One is free to post as much or as little as they would like, regarding the topic as well as favorite snacks in the park (s) drinks, as well as for any meal, from breakfast to dessert. :)

My favorite place to lunch at in DL is Bengal BBQ, my favorite is the bacon wrapped asparagus ( I saw another vote for that on this thread YUMM!). The family has enjoyed French Market in the past but with the new menu I may not be able to convince DH and DS to eat there. I am looking forward to BB and Cafe Orleans for our next trip because of the (mostly)great reviews I have heard. My absolute favorite thing I must have everytime I go is a Chocolate covered Carmel Apple from the candy shop on Main St. I got the whole family hooked on them. I take them home an cut them up because they are huge. The chocolate covered strawberries are great also.

We love the Carnation Cafe - for breakfast (the BEST iced mochas!!) and lunch (loaded baked potato soup - :woohoo: YUMMY!). My DS loves the corn dogs at the Corn Dog Palace in DCA (OK, so do I, but don't tell anyone, 'K??). The cookies from the bakery are great too (but did not like the sugar cookie, very dry). Ooooh, and s'mores from Marcelline's were so good!! The fresh pineapple spears from near the Tiki room are good. Mys DS also loved the Dole Whip float.

OK, truthfully I could just snack my way around Disneyland and be a totally happy me!
