Where are you going for "spring" break?

We are heading to DW for spring break. We might skip next year and wait a couple of years. I am not going to renew our passes this year.

Enjoy the last one all together! Our last one with both kids in HS was last year, but their sports team stuff got in the way of the togetherness. DS and DH went on the golf team trip to Ireland. DD and I went on the softball team trip to WDW. Divide and conquer!

Thanks!

I know it's not absolutely "our last", but it's the last time it's guaranteed. I hope DD will have opportunities, internships, work, etc. so it's entirely possible that our time off won't align again for the whole family. Just she and I being able to do something together is a more likely scenario than the five of us.

I am going to Disney with my mom! We are both teachers, different districts, same spring break. My husband is also a teacher, but has a different spring break and cannot go.

I don't ever remember going anywhere during "spring break" when our kids were growing up. We usually vacationed with them in the summer, and without them in the winter. :)

DH and I just got back from a Florida trip, and just this morning booked another cruise for next January with our son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and her boyfriend. Yesterday morning we had no plans to book another cruise anytime soon (our last one was last February, with the same family members minus the boyfriend - he couldn't get time off his new job) but they all want to cruise again and invited us to go along again, so how could we say no? And we'll be cruising out of New Orleans again. I was sick last time we cruised out of there (raw oysters) so couldn't fully enjoy our time there, so I'm looking forward to going back and doing some of the things we didn't get to do last time. We'll probably spend at least 2 nights there before getting on the cruise.

Lancaster, PA! I'm the group organizer for my church to see Samson at the Sight & Sound Theatre. While it's just one night for the group, DH and I have booked the hotel a few days earlier so that our family of 3 can relax and enjoy Amish country before everyone arrives. Can't wait to go. It's a vacation we really need right now.

A couple of days in Miami and then a multi-family DCL cruise with two other families who are just so much fun!

We're going to work, as usual. :guilty: No spring break out in the real world, students, so don't get used to it.
Oh, I disagree. I decided not to work for 3 weeks in March, so I am getting a spring break because I made one!

Not sure where I'm going. I have a friend in NYC that I try to visit several times a year, and he's flying out to Oregon to stay with me. We'll take a road trip somewhere. I also rented a beach house for us and my adult kids for a long weekend. :)

San Antonio. I literally picked the cheapest place that I could get flights to out of Boston for our April break. Seems like there is a lot to do there now that I am researching it so I am getting excited!

Our plans switched pretty dramatically last week thanks to husband’s work schedule. We were supposed to be on the Gulf, visiting my cousin, seeing some Spring Training games.

The week we had to switch to is after Spring training, and the airfare to Tampa/RSW was way much more than MCO. We decided to spend our time on the Space Coast. Going to be beach bums, take in some seafood and Yeungling, and just chill. I cannot wait!

When we get back, our summer vacation to WDW will be just 8 weeks away!

Disagree. When you work, you accrue vacation....you surely can make and take your own spring break. :)

South Africa on safari (photo not hunting)! One of the most exciting things about having school age children is to justify spring break trips. Our sons school has 2-week long spring breaks due to the number of international students!!

This is on my next big family trip wish list! I want to do it before DS graduates from college. I need to start chunking away money for it now!
