Where are the scrapbook kits located??

Hi,

I was wondering if someone out there could help me on this, I am wanting to do a scrapbook on our upcoming trip, I have seen some of the stuff for sale on ebay but I have been hesitant to purchase it, because I know it will probably be cheaper to get myself, my question is, where is the scrapbook stuff located?? Thanks for your help!

I know there are several places at Disney to buy scrapbook things, there is the World of Memories at Downtown Disney, there are things is the resort shops, and I know there are some places in the parks, but I'm not sure where they are.

You can find some things at Michael's too, if you have one close to you. Also online, mousememories.com seems to have a lot of things, and if you have a Creative Memories (CM) consultant, they have a few things also.

Not sure what you mean by kits but here are some thoughts.

If you are looking for Disney specific stuff try the locations in WDW mentioned earlier as well as mouse memories - these both have some pre-packaged combos of Disney papers, stickers, etc.

Most of the craft stores such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc. have packs of paper, stickers, die cuts, etc for particular themes. There are even some packages that include an album.

However, you're probably going to be happier selecting an album and then buying papers, stickers, etc. that work with your photos. It is a little more time consuming but not as much stuff that doesn't work.

Yes, there is a ton of Halloween stuff available.

If you have a scrapbook supply store (we call them LSS on here) I'd suggest going in to one in your area and asking for some help. The folks that work there are almost always willing to spend the necessary time with a newbie to get them up and rolling. As well as other customers wandering around putting in their 2 cents worth.

Be forewarned....this hobby is VERY addicting!

I saw on LaughingPlace.com that there is a new Halloween Kit now. I have not seen it yet, as we are not going for several weeks..

You can find the kits at the scrapbook store in DTD, plus that bigger one that has EVERYTHING. Keep your eyes open at your hotel gift shop and at the parks stores. I found several things at hotels that were not available (sold out?) at the scrapbook store in DTD. I think I remember a Halloween one.

Yes, you can find other Disney stuff at your chain stores (Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc.), LSSs and online, but what you see in Disney can basically only be purchased there (unless you want to pay higher than retail prices).

You can also look for previous posts. There was one specifically asking about prices and what comes in the kits. I posted all the info there.

Scrapyourtrip.com is another good site to go to. Twopeasinabucket is a great place to go to get ideas. Some of the most talented people I've ever seen!! Wonderful work!! And as stated earlier......this is VERY addicting!! But it's a ton of fun.
