Where are the best places to eat??

My family (17 of us total) are going to Disney the week after Thanksgiving. We have the free dining promotion and we want to make the best out of it. Where are some of your favorite places to eat? Character, fine dining, moderete, etc...

'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary
Pecos Bill's at Magic Kingdom (Counter Service)
Sci-Fi Drive-In
Tusker House
Crystal Palace
Garden Grill at EPCOT
Biergarten at EPCOT
Just a few great options!

So many great ones! Here are our faves:

Crystal Palace at the MK (especially for breakfast)
Ohana at the Polynesian (breakfast is good & has characters, dinner is great)
Le Cellier at EPCOT (we like to go there for lunch....delicious)
Tusker House at AK (great character breakfast)
Biergarten at EPCOT (hearty and filling, lots of choices on buffet)
California Grill at the Contemporary (great food, amazing view for fireworks)
Sci-Fi at the Studios (very cool atmosphere, food is ok)
50's Prime Time Cafe (comfort food, great shakes, kids enjoy watching parents get fussed at for "not minding their manners")

For counter service, we like Pecos Bill's at the MK. Downtown Disney has two of the best counter-service options: Wolfgang Puck Express (so many great choices there) and Earl of Sandwich (yummy hot sandwiches and sides).

I like for large groups buffets so everyone gets something they like.

When we go to Disney we always use the free dining and make the most of it. The food is definately a big part of the vacation for our family

Here are some Must Do's:

Epcot- Le Cellier- go for lunch since it is onky one credit and you must get mushroom filet it is the best item on the menu

Coral Reef- Good foor great atmosphere-ask to sit next to aquarium when you check in the steak and daily seafood special are both pretty good

Quick Service-Try something different and go to Tangerine Cafe the platters are huge and everything is delicious

Magic Kingdom- Crystal Palace-Character buffet with Pooh and friends

Quick Service- Columbia Harbour House is our favorite with tons of indoor seating and great food they have a variety of items

Cosmic Rays is also good counter service here, not a lot seating and is sometimes crowded but they give you a lot of food

Hollywood-Starring Rolls Cafe for sanwiches and patries
Backlot has a variety of food

Animal Kingdom-Flame Tree BBQ its very good for counter service

Resorts-1900 Park Fare is great especially for girls, the food is pretty good for a buffet as well and since you are going during the christmas season, it is inside the Grand Floridian which has aa live band and is beautifully decorated for the holiday season, they sell treats out of a real gingerbread house the kids will love it

Chef Mickey's for breakfast is also a good character buffet and good to go to before MK opens, you can walk or take momorail from Contemporary to MK

Ohana at the Polynesian is somewhere we always go and if you go during MK fireworks and get a window seat they pipe in the music from MK and you can watch the fireworks from your seats

Dont forget about getting the most out of your snack credits! great options are cupcakes from Starring rolls they are huge and delicious!

Main St Confectionary-So many baked good and seasonal treats and chocolate covered strawberries

Main st Bakery- Cinnamon rolls for breakfast are great!

Dole whip floats at MK
Epcot has great treats everywhere Napoleon at France many pastries at Kringola (school bread)

Definately don't forget to get an didea of the best snacks becasue some of these you just don't want to miss out on. They definately beat a bottle of water
