You can come sit by me! I HATE to fly, hate is probably too nice of a word.
I haven't flown since pre 9/11, and before my kids were born. (was pregnant last time I flew).
I will be flying in less than two weeks, with my youngest son, down to disney for a quick trip.
I am in a panic, full blown panic attacks. I have been having nightmares, not sleeping, the whole deal. Have talked to my doctor, he is willing to prescribe something, but my fear with taking something is being in la la land, when I have to be the mom. Since I am the only one flying with my son. I am flying with a friend, and her daughter, they are sitting directly in front of us. I know she will help out, but she can't be in charge of both babies, so I have to still be the mom.
I know I will not be able to relax while the flight it happening. BUT, I also know (or hope), that because I have my son that I will be okay. I keep joking, I will be in the isle in the fetal position, while he has a great time.
I just keep telling myself millions of people fly a day, millions. I will be fine. Plus, less than two hours, and we are at the mouse! We have always driven, which is at least 20 hours. SO.....I just keep telling myself, mickeys at the end of the plane ride.....
