Where are my ADRS?-Disney site- UPDATE!! Post 570 pg 38

Yeah, the CM said as long as you had your confirmation number that meant you were in the system.

I hope that they can fix this divide between the website and the central system because this is obviously causing some stress for the CMs.

The CM said that the confirmation number would not do me any good if it was not in the system as the restaurant will have the valid numbers that came from their system and mine is no longer listed. i felt like crying.

ILovemygirls, Cant you just take a copy of your confirmation numbers with you for Ohana? I thought thats what they told us to do ? Im still too scared to call, i have all my con numbers but i shall just cry if ive lost anything. Like everyone else ive worked hard on planning my ressies and spent many hours on the computer. This is just an awful situation...

Hmmm, just checked on my ressie's and when they weren't there I ran here for some info. Thanks for the thread and sorry that everyone seems to be in the same predicament.
Has anyone ever printed out the e-mail confirmation and waved that at the door of the restaurant? Would that even help if your reservation isn't in "their" system any longer?
I'm trying to be hopeful.

I asked that question when my O'hanas was missing as I have everyone of my email confirmations. I was told that if it is not in the system, the email confirmation would not do me any good.

I'm holding right now, to see if my ressie's are still there. I'll cry if they are lost, I've been planning this for almost a year..

Ok, here she is.....

I had her check my Ohana and RFC, and she said they are still there, there's no need to check the rest, that as soon as the update is complete, everyone's will show back up on the online system.

If you were told this by a Disney Dining CM, then I would take it with a grain of salt. I am positive a strategy for this extremely worst case scenario has not even been developed yet. Can you imagine the PR nightmare if they do not honor ADRs made before October 14?

Also, one time I had two vacations on the books, but the first one was canceled, literally, the day before we left because I had emergency surgery. DH talked to an extremely nice lady in guest relations who helped him and one of the things she offered to do was cancel our ADRs. Only problem is that she canceled the ADRS for the second trip too. We showed up at Disney with NO idea this happened. The restaurants were able to see on their computer system info the name of the CM who canceled and also the date it happened. We were seated at every single place we'd booked. The restaurants' computers should have some explanatory info that backs up your story (and that of others in this sad, stressful position), IMO.

I just got off hold... the CM said they were all there. But since I couldn't pull them up on the site and the site I had none, I called to be sure. I was on hold for 7 min - not bad at all. :wizard:

Thanks for sharing your story with me, that makes me feel a lot better. The CM I spoke to was really nice and sounded like she knew what she was talking about. She said one person broke out crying as they could not rebook her CRT reservation.

I am missing all of mine for our 10 day trip. We leave in the morning. I have the conf # printed out and said I would not call but I am on hold now LOL

Unfortunately, the update's supposed to be complete in mid-December, about when I'll be returning from my trip. :sad2:

Leaving on Sunday. No dining reservations showing up online.

Was told wait time was 6 minutes.. it was about 10.

Gave my full name, last name, zip code, and phone number. She had my tour and dining reservations with confirmation numbers. Nothing was missing.

*whew*

I just got off of the phone with a doll of a CM. She pulled up all of my ADR's.

have you been stalking the ressie site? Ive seen a few random ohana ressies in the last few days I scored a 5 pm Ohana yesterday!

For what it's worth, I spoke to a cm about my missing ressies and she said that once we make them, they are cast in stone and unless we cancel them, they'll be there. :dance3: She said not to worry that I can't pull them up...I'm missing half of mine. She didn't offer to try to pull them up herself, but told me to check again tomorrow to see if they appear. :rotfl: What? Okay. I'll be a lemming, doing what I'm told.:surfweb:

Of 7 ADRs of mine only 2 remain (one of which is Ohana as it happens).
I haven't called and probably won't, but I'll make sure I have my email printouts with me when I check in to the restaurants. In the event of a denial of my ADR I won't be taking no for an answer, in the nicest possible way, of course...

It seems the CMs are not all on the same page. Just talked to a lovely lady named Atlanta, actually about moving up a BBB reservation. We then got to talking about ADRs and how they are not showing up, etc. She offered to look up a few of my missing ones to make sure they are there and said she has been having to do this alot the last few days. The one thing she did say, is that if we have a print out with a confirmation number, the restaurant must honor our reservation. She sorta laughed and said "Trust me, they cannot turn you away with a confirmation number." I didn't press her for details. Anyway, it's interesting that not all CMs have the same story.

I still only have 4 of my 8 ADR's showing. :confused3 I guess I won't worry about it now, I don't want to call yet since mine are made under 2 names, I'm afraid they might think I'm pretending to be someone else or something! I have all of my confirmation numbers and most of the emails so I'll just hope that's good enough when I'm there in a few weeks! :)

Broke down and called since half of mine were still missing. She found them all. So if you aren't a worry wart like me, you are probably fine. Just wanted to get started looking for new ones if some were missing.
